The bachelor thesis is dealing with a proposal metal sheet warehouse in an engineering company. At first a research of storage and supply management has been carried. After that a storage capacity has been calculated and a warehouse layout solution has been proposed. Two variants of the solution have been proposed: cantilever racks and an automated vertical storage system, each with a layout drawing. Both variants have been evaluated and compared in terms of purchase costs and technical possibilities and advantages.

Proposal of the Marketing Strategy for ITAB, s.r.o. on the Romanian Markets

The aim of this thesis is to design a marketing strategy. The first part presents theoretical knowledge of marketing, marketing strategy, competitive analysis and methods of penetration for new markets. In second part is introduced the company and made the analysis of the current situation. Furthermore, this work deals with analysis of the situation and competition on the Romanian markets (searching for potential distributors and their evaluation). On the basis of analysis is proposed appropriate marketing strategies, options of the penetration to the markets and costing. These options are then evaluated and selected the most appropriate.

This bachelor's study deals with the design of a newly built warehouse in an engineering company. The first part of the study described the company for whom the design was created. The second part deals with the issue of storage spaces. It describes the foundational functions and types of warehouses, logistics and inventory management, or material handling equipment. In the next part, the storage capacity was calculated and two variants of the solution were proposed. Both variants are solved using pallet racks, where the first design is for VNA system carts and the second is designed for mobile racks. Drawing documentation was prepared for both variants. Lastly, both of the variants were evaluated from a technical and economic point of view.

In the first part, a research describing the functions and types of the warehouse, material handling and logistics methods was carried out. In the following part, the storage capacity was calculated and two solutions were proposed. Both variants are solved by cantilever racks with extendable arms. The first variant is stationary whereas the other one is movable. Drawing documentation has been made for both variants. Lastly, these variants have been evaluated by the technical as well as economic point of view.
