Testing of room acoustics
Toufarová, Tereza ; Špalek, Karel (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
This paper presents parameters of evaluation of acoustic quality of the space. It is divided into parts presenting physical principle of the origin and movement of the acoustic signal, principles of its processing with current technology and properties of the acoustic field. This is followed by an analysis of the musical part and notes on psychoacoustics. The document contains a description of relevant parameters of acoustic spaces and way in which we can reach desired results, including material analysis. The paper mainly focuses on description of relevant parameters of three acoustic spaces which were measured. The last part of the work is a program for elementary acoustical measurement, which can be provided by means of commonly accessible equipment such as a notebook or a personal computer.
Study of reflectance of materials for construction surface treatment
Rauchfussová, Karolína ; Šot, František (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
Presented work deals with the study of properties of the progressive heat-reflecting foil thermal insulating materials. The work describes the transport mechanism of thermal energy through the structure of heat-reflecting materials, physical properties are compared with conventional thermal insulating materials. It is also shown here the main applications of these materials are in the field of low-energy and passive houses, especially in terms of the optimal method of incorporating in the building. The practical part is devoted to measuring of reflectance was made and then the measuring device HOT BOX was assembled.
L.E.T. optomechanika Praha, spol. s.r.o. – testing of thin layers formed by vapor deposition and sputtering
Řeháková, Martina
Were tested by thin layer formed by deposition and sputtering, which are used for optical components power lasers, according to customer requirements.: based material. float glass, borosilicate glass, etc.; broadband anti-reflection coating, dual-layer, single; reflective layer Al, Al + SiO2 + MgF2;layers of Cr, Cr2O3, Au or other variants as required
Water reservoirs-Rozkoš-Seč-2014
Fabiánek, Tomáš
The requested site was scanned by airborne hyperspectral sensor AISA Eagle (Spectral Imaging Ltd.) during the two days of the growing season. Hyperspectral data were adapted for the analysis of surface water quality in selected reservoirs. Ground measurements of the reflectance of special targets surfaces were done using field spectroradiometer (FieldSpec4 from ASD, Inc.). These measurements were used to optimize the atmospheric correction. The resulting georeferenced mosaic of hyperspectral data had spatial resolution of 5 m and the spectral resolution of 2.5 nm. The image mosaic provides true information about the reflectance of a water body on both reservoirs.
Mapping of a drainage system – Skuteč - 2014
Fabiánek, Tomáš
The main interest was to map a drainage system in an agricultural landscape. For this purpose airborne hyperspectral imaging sensor (CASI), which operates in the visible spectral region, was chosen. CASI (ITRES Inc. Canada) is an essential part of Flying Laboratory of Imaging Spectroscopy (FLIS) operated by the Center for global change research AS CR, v. v. i. Image acquisition was carried out during the growing season 2014, in the high spatial resolution (0.5 m) containing spectral information within 48 bands in the range 400-1000 nm. Scanned data were georeferenced in the UTM WGS84 33N map projection, radiometrically and atmospherically corrected. Therefore, the reflectance is without of the influence of the atmosphere and the resulting image is fully usable for required analyzes
Optical properties of historical paint pigments under near infrared (NIR) radiation
Blažek, Jan ; Zitová, Barbara ; Tichý, T. ; Vašutová, V.
The knowledge of paint pigments' optical characteristics enables the selection of an appropriate imaging methodology for non-invasice artwork investigation. i. e. optimising the visibility of preparatory layers using conventional photographic cameras modified for data acquisition in the near infrared wavelength range. This contribution deals with the limits of this simple method in the analysis of selected common pigments used in prepared canvas mock-ups with typical structure including ground layer and underdrawings of various compositions.
Semiautomatic Surface Reflectance Measurement for Monitoring of Material Weathering
Kocour, Vladimír ; Valach, Jaroslav
We present a device for measurement of surface reflectance in dependence on incidence angle and reflectance angle. This measurement enables us to quantitatively determine how much the surface is glossy or matt. The device is programmable, which enables us to choose non-equidistant steps of angles, and study special situations more in detail. It can be used for monitoring of material weathering or other types of degradation as weathering usually causes that the surface becomes more matt.
Investigation of Optical Properties of Protective Layer for Glass Medieval Mosaic of Last Judgement from St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague
Valach, Jaroslav ; Kocour, Vladimír ; Černý, Miloš
The Mosaic of Last Judgement from St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague is a medieval masterpiece created in late 14th century by Venetian craftsmen. If very dramatic history and various problems encountered are taken into consideration, the current state of preservation is acceptable, perhaps mainly due to systematic effort to protect the valuable item of cultural heritage. The research project, part of which is presented here, also aims on developing effective means for preservation of the precious object. It concentrates on finding formula for creation of protective layer that eliminates influence of chemicals present in air and in water, while being stable itself. The main goal of the investigation is to help in finding the best formula for protective layer that is most stable itself, i.e. which does not represent a future obstacle in viewing the mosaic, e.g. because of losing its transparency.
Determination of Optical Properties of Surfaces for Use in Cultural Heritage Protection
Kocour, Vladimír ; Bryscejn, Jan ; Vrba, David ; Valach, Jaroslav
In this paper we would like to present a simple method of surface reflectance measurement, then to discuss relation between reflectance and surface appearance and what it indicates in the context of shape reconstruction and surface protection.
Coalification – properties and classification of coal
Sýkorová, Ivana
The rank, properties and composition of peat and coal are discussed in relation to classification and utilization of coals.
