Mobile Machineries Used for Sorting of Agregates and Recycled Materials from Building Waste
Babušík, Bedřich ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis introduces the topic of construction waste recycling and describes the process itself. Recycling has been a growing trend over the last few decades, so it is important to pay attention to it. It focuses on a research of existing technical solutions and introduces selected mechanical screeners. The thesis is completed by own conceptual design of screening machine with a capacity up to 20 t/h, including the assembly model and a description of the basic components.
The utilization of the asphalt and concrete recycled materials to roads
Žďára, Zbyněk ; Šperka, Pavel (referee) ; Stehlík, Dušan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The is a review om the topic of recycled asphalt pavement and recycled concrete and their possible use in road construction in the theoretical part. The individual chapters deal with describing these materials, their production, and their use in construction layers of pavements. In the next chapters the attention is also paid to their problematic features and foreign experience using these materials in pavements. In the practical part, laboratory samples of recycled asphalt pavement and recycled concrete and their mixtures with cement are tested. The main purpose is to verify the applications of these mixtures of recycled asphalt pavement and recycled concrete in the bonded base layers of the pavement. Another purpose is to compare how these mixtures individual properties with different proportions of both components and different amounts of cement will be different. In the end, the two mixtures with the best properties was selected and the modulus of elasticity was experimentally determined for the possibility of replacing the currently used base layers and the economic evaluation of this design was made.
ELIMINATION OF NEGATIVE PROPERTIES OF CONCRETE INDUCED BY THE USE OF RECYCLED AGGREGATES USING BASALT FIBERS
Fittl, David ; Nováková, Iveta (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
The thesis summarises information about recycled aggregates and basalt fibres, their interaction in composite material such as concrete. It focuses on the potential deficiencies and properties of concrete due to the use of recycled aggregates and on the possibilities of their subsequent elimination of their negative impact by the use of basalt fibres. It characterizes individual raw materials and their interaction in concrete. It includes verification of the properties of the individual sub-components and the resulting concrete itself. An assessment is made of the impact of the use of recycled aggregates on the properties of concrete (compresive strength, static modulus of elasticity, residual flexure tensile strength and others). The thesis discusses the question of whether the same or similar mechanical properties of concrete can be achieved with natural and recycled aggregates using basalt reinforcing fibres. The work provides for the possibility of settlement the values of these concrete parameters by using basalt fibres as a dispersed reinforcement in concrete. The recycled aggregates come from concrete company JARO AS in the north of Norway, where this work was conducted with the financial support from Erasmus+ at The Arctic University of Norway - campus Narvik.
Waste building materials to base layers of the pavements
Žďára, Zbyněk ; Hýzl, Petr (referee) ; Stehlík, Dušan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, there is processed information about recycled construction waste and their possible use in road construction in the form of research. The individual chapters deal with the description of these materials, their production, their use in base layers of the pavement and attention is also paid to their problematic features and foreign experience. In the practical part, laboratory samples of recycled asphalt pavement and recycled aggregates were tested. The main purpose was to find out if it was possible to use a mixture of recycled asphalt pavement and recycled aggregates in the base layers of the pavement with a low traffic load. Another purpose was to compare the properties of mixtures with different content of both recycled materials and to see how the bearing capacity of these mixtures changes when an elevated temperature is applied to them.
Mobile Machineries Used for Modification of Agregates and Recycled Materials from Building Waste
Turčinek, Andrej ; Horsák, Milan (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the problem of selection of a new crusher for a smaller recycling company and the comparison of the old variant of the production line with the new one thanks to the increasing part of recycling in the construction industry. In the introduction, this is a general overview of the technological line, the requirements for aggregates and types of crushers. The actual work consists in acquainting with a specific technological line for the treatment of the construction waste, the selection of suitable substitution for this line and the subsequent comparison of the old and the new variant. As it is a relatively new industrial sector with rapid development, the main benefit of the thesis is the outline this industry sphere in 2017.
Belt conveyor for recycle aggregate
Motloch, Martin ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is creation of a functional calculation, determination of the main dimensions, design of the drive and stress analysis of drive shaft for the driven drum of belt conveyor for recycled aggregates. Furthermore, the thesis contains description of each part of the belt conveyor, which were chosen from catalogs of companies dealing with production of these parts, or determined on the basis of the calculation.
