Psychosocial Risks and Stress at Work

The diploma thesis deals with psychosocial risks and stress in work. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to the definition and characteristics of psychosocial risks and stress. Furthermore, the legislative entrenchment of psychosocial risks in the Czech Republic and the European Union is described. The theoretical assumptions are concluded by the definition of psychosocial risk management. The methodological part is devoted to the quantitative survey, which is focused on the psychosocial risks of bank advisers of the company. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, appropriate recommendations are made to reduce psychosocial risks in the company.
Psychosocial risks of burnout syndrome of managers as a threat factor for the functioning of the organization

The thesis deals with the assessment of psychosocial risks and burnout syndrome among executives. The work is divided into three parts – theoretical, research and design. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition and clarification of individual terms. The subject of the research part is an investigation, which is focused on psychosocial risks and burnout syndrome among managers of organizations in various sectors operating in the Czech Republic. Based on the results found, proposals for reducing the investigated risks and preventing the burnout syndrome are presented at the end of the thesis.

The study offers a view of early intervention not only in the context of disability but also focuses on the issue of threat to the development of a child with psychosocial risks. The theoretical knowledge is based on foreign experience, confirming the importance and necessity of early intervention in socially disadvantaged families. Results of a comparative analytical study are presented in the research part. We have opted for a qualitative approach to data treatment, with the aim to understand the phenomena of early intervention in the context of the given country. The early intervention system of the Czech Republic is compared to that of Styria, Austria.
