Operational safety of mobile robots in indoor environment
Vojta, Jakub ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
During cooperation with the Bender Robotics company a need for operational safety assessment of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) emerged. Operational safety evaluation is a step towards mass production of the studied robot. Market entry of a product requires a string of various actions and safety assessment is one of them. For risk identification and severity rating were used legal requirements, best practice given by standards, FMEA method, experiment and RIPRAN method. Threats, possible scenarios and risks analysis is systematically discussed through all areas of operation of the robot, from design and construction to control software. All the steps are described in logical order. Starting with information research, going on with series of analysis and ending with suggestions for increased operational safety of autonomous mobile robots.
Zhodnocení biologického potenciálu dřevin na lokalitě Zámecký park Neuberk a specifikace managementových opatření pro udržení, nebo zvýšení tohoto potenciálu
Fišerová, Linda
The organism biodiversity bound to trees is constantly decreasing due to the climate changes, vanishing of natural shelters and intensive management of public and private greenery. This thesis analyzes biodiversity in the park Neuberk in Mělník. Specific conditions of the park currently offer variety of habitats for number of organisms, especially those bound to trees. There were found several specially protected species (under the law rules for Czech Republic) of both vertebrates and invertebrates at the locality. On the basis of the outputs evaluation and the tree assessment this thesis proposes cultivation measures in order to reach an ideal compromise between maintaining the highest possible biologic potential and the operating safety of trees. Furthermore, there are proposed additional management measurements offering an alternative approach in order to boost biodiversity at this location in long term view.
Instalace a kontrola bezpečnostních vazeb stromů
Lacina, Jakub
Safety ties are an essential measure for securing trees that are exposed to various hazards such as windy conditions, storms, drought, disease and pests. Installation and inspection of safety ties are important steps for maintaining the safety and stability of trees, and therefore also for the protection of people and property in their vicinity. There are many factors to consider when installing safety ties, such as the type and condition of the tree, the type of tie and anchorage, terrain conditions, and the surrounding environment. Inspection of safety links should be carried out regularly. This article summarizes the most important factors regarding the installation and inspection of tree safety ties, including the procedures and techniques that should be used to properly install and maintain these ties. Proper installation and inspection of safety ties are key to the safety and long-term stability of trees, ensuring the sustainability and aesthetics of our environment.
Biodiverzita dřevních hub v urbanizovaném prostředí České republiky
Böhm, Šimon
The thesis deals with wood fungi, especially in the urbanized environment. In the field-work, various types of wood fungi were registered. The aim of this monitoring was to identify or verify their frequency, the most common host species, the effect of the in-fection on vitality, state of health, and tree stability. In addition, this work compares the differences between species of wood fungi occuring in urban environment and those found mainly in forests and nature reserves, whereas the most frequent species are described in detail. Last but not least, there are listed cases of tree failure due to wood fungi in the urban environment. Fomes fomentarius, Phellinus igniarius, Phellinus ro-bustus, Ustulina deusta, Inonotus hispidus were found to be the most common types of fungus in cities. Concerning the biodiversity of fungi, there were discovered significant differences between the city and the forest environment, particularly due to the share of coniferous and deciduous trees. As for the found cases of tree failure, they show that Fomes fomentarius and Ustulina deusta are the most common causes of the infection.
Zhodnocení zdravotního stavu dřevin v lokalitě Brno - Moravské náměstí
Drda, Antonín
The thesis deals with evaluation of the state of the urban wood and their biodiversity. In total, three parks were evaluated and the parameters analyzed were compared to each other. A detailed inventory was carried out and the four main aspects were assessed, namely health, vitality, operational safety and biological value. The evaluation of these parameters was based on standardized tree evaluation procedures. According to these aspects, some tree species have been suggested to provide corrective action to ensure stability, taking into account the preservation of the individual's biological value. The result of the work is the inventory of the given site with assessment of the overall condition of the trees, proposals for measures for the individuals with the worst operational safety taking into account the preservation of their biological value and the list of accompanying organisms present on the trees.
Zhodnocení zdravotního stavu a provozní bezpečnosti senescentních dřevin v Zámeckém parku ve Velkých Losinách
Podhajská, Kristýna
Abstract Name: Kristýna Podhajská Title of the thesis: Evaluation of health condition and operational safety of senescent tree species in the Park of Velké Losiny Castle The Bachelor thesis evaluates the health condition and the operational safety of senescent tree species and the tree species influencing the senescent tree species in the park of Velké Losiny Castle. The aim of the thesis was to find out the condition of the tree species and to propose the corresponding interventions by the arborists. The evaluation of the condition of the tree species was carried out with the aid of the methodology of the expert institute Arbonet Co. Ltd., and the design of the interventions on these tree species was designed with the aid of arborist´s standards. Within the framework of the Bachelor thesis, 9 senescent tree species and 102 tree species influencing the senescent tree species were examined. The results of the thesis confirm the hypothesis that a higher number of accompanying organisms are tied to the senescent tree species than to other tree species.
Návrh a zhodnocení technologií ošetření senescentních stromů s ohledem na podporu prvků s biologickým potenciálem
Václavík, Vojtěch
Senescent trees management technologies carried out with an effort to improve biodiversity are referred to as natural imitation. However, there is often a need to make big reductions, causing big damage and large wounds to a tree, in order to keep public safety. When dealing with question of how to carry out this kind of treatment, proper identification of threats and knowledge of desired outcome is needed. This has been found out both in Czech and foreign literature, as well as importance of individual approach, backed by analysis of professionals' opinions. Thanks to individual approach and combination of classic and special pruning techniques, the highest possible support of biological value was revealed in the case study Šilheřovice - Paseky alley.
Proposal for Sustainable Development of Urban Green Areas in Litoměřice
Hradecká, Aneta ; Vacek, Oldřich (advisor) ; Jiří, Jiří (referee)
Thesis deals with a proposal for sustainable development of urban green areas in Litoměřice. Aim is to provide suitable conditions to guarantee a long term aesthetis value of cultivated trees and the trees stability in the individual town zones so they are not potentionally dangerous to properties or personal health. Urban green areas are an inseparable part of modern towns and cities. They create favourable living conditions. These areas has positive impact on microclimate in towns; influence psychological and mental state of inhabitans. Therefore, we should take care of those areas and make an effort to keep them functional and in high-quality conditions. Unfortunately, green areas in towns are exposed to a number of negative factors that have an immense impact on their value as well as lifespan. Among the greatest problems belong salinization of soil along motorways, dogs urine, transport, building operations, warm microclimate, soil and air pollution. In order to perserve quality of cultivated trees, towns need to systematically manage and look after green areas. Thus, a concept for maintenance of green areas has been developed, in which the green areas in Litoměřice were divided into eight zones. This concept includes recommendation of suitable selection of trees and their length of life cycle. Concept also presents development of individual zones depending on their character and utilization. Public green areas are proposed to become a part of maitenance system. Project offers a possible way of better care for green areas and maitain their appropriate conditions. Proposal brings changes into concept of urban green areas maintenance, which needs also the inhabitans understanding and change of their attitude. Overall change can improve environment in towns and provide them with sustainable system of the quality urban green areas.
