Water management solution of Tršice reservoir
Chyba, Martin ; Fína, David (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
The master thesis follows the bachelor's thesis entitled Water management solution of a small water Tršice reservoir. The object of the work is the completion of the water management solution at the Tršice reservoir. In the terms of the storage function of the reservoir, it will be a question of finding a possible increase of runoff for irrigation in the growing season of various crops. In the terms of the protective function, it will be a transformation of flood waves of Tršice reservoirs and below ponds.
Replacement of electromechanical protections in TNS Vraňany
Čechová, Karolína ; Šiler, Michal (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The reconstruction of the traction substation Vraňany currently involves only the replacement of power oil transformers. The main reason for their replacement is the fact that the power transformers have already exceeded their designed lifecycle. According to an investor requirement, only the transformer replacement is considered, however, a new system of protection is not included. Even though the fault-free operation of power transformers is closely related to ensuring a reliable and safe electric power supply. The main aim of the thesis is to design a new system of protection for power transformers to replace the present one. In the theoretical part of the thesis is described the current state of the traction substation along with a calculation of short circuit current ratios and their comparison with the new ones considering the installation of the new power transformers. In the next part are inspected instrument current transformers if they comply with the requirements for the new protection system. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the selection of protection relay, calculation of the primary setting for selected protection functions, and subsequently conducting their functional tests. In conclusion, the economic part of the planned investment is estimated.
A Water Management Analysis of the Vlachovice Reservoir on the Vlára Watercourse
Rajsiglová, Veronika ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis focuses on a process of water management analysis of storage and protective function of the Vlachovice reservoir on the Vlára watercourse. The work contains an alternative proposal of the reservoir storage volume in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheet program with accessible functions whereby progression of arithmetic and logical algorithm simulating operation of reservoir storage function is created. An alternative proposal of protective volume of the reservoir is created in HYDROG program, where calculations of transformation of flood waves for PV 100, PV 1 000, and PV 10 000 are performed. Moreover, the work includes simplified analysis of the hydropower potential of the proposed reservoir.
A Water Management Analysis of the Rychtářov Reservoir Protection Function
Fliega, Adam ; Sobek, Martin (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is water management analysis of the protective function of the Ryhtářov water reservoir on the Velká Haná. Thesis contains hydrological model of the basin wich is compile in HEC-HMS program. According to this model are derive flood waves PV 100, PV 1000 a PV 10 000. Within of the protective function are designed outlets and spillway. The protective function is compile in HEC-HMS program, where calculations of transformation of derived flood waves are performed. The solution provides two different variants. These variants are compared at the work.

Positive and negative conceptions of human rights
Blažková, Kristina ; Kühn, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Ondřejek, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse the protective function of constitutional rights as compared to the traditional defensive function. Whereas the defensive function of constitutional rights requires that the state does not interfere with and respect the constitutional rights of the individual, the protective function requires the state to act to promote and protect constitutional rights. The problematic is examined primarily through the case-law of three foreign supreme jurisdictions, i.e. the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the Federal Constitutional Court of the Federal Republic of Germany and the European Court of Human Rights. In the broader perspective the thesis aims to assess the approach taken by the Czech Constitutional Court in relation to this problematic. The protective function of constitutional rights is explored through the perspective of the individual and through the perspective of the system. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, the author clarifies fundamental theoretical concepts used in the thesis. The positive and negative concept of constitutional rights is closely connected to the two concepts of freedom as developed by I. Berlin in his famous essay Two Concepts of Freedom. The protective function also represents a specific legal...
