Participants and their activities in local development (Mikroregion CHOPOS)

This thesis deals with participants of local development. The aim of the thesis was to find out activities of micro-region CHOPOS. This micro-region is an actor in local development and the aim of this thesis is to monitor its activities. The thesis is focused on finding out how local actors contribute to the development of the site in accordance with the principle of an endogenous approach to development. The theoretical part defines terms related to the issue of regional development. The findings of a secondary analysis of projects micro-region CHOPOS shows that the highest total costs of the projects for the period 2001-2008 were in 2003 (7,903 419 CZK). Most projects implemented by LEADER for the period 2007-2013 and implemented by the municipality Postupice and Teplýšovice, both municipalities made two projects (Postupice 1,529,961 CZK and Teplýšovice 1,033,657 CZK). Teplýšovice realized the most of the projects for the period 2001-2008, a total of 21 (with a value of 6,857,826 CZK). Evaluated data from semi-structured interviews with mayors of micro-region CHOPOS shows that all the mayors see nothing but benefits in membership in the micro-region. And all other municipalities consider as rather active. Actors considered the most successful project of lookout of Špulka. These interviews were also found reason for the subsequent entry into the union one of the municipalities. The reason was indecision of council.
Project management - implementation of changes in data warehouse in a selected company

The thesis is focused on project management, specifically on the design of the process solution of project - The implementation of changes in a data warehouse in a selected company. The first is defined theoretical background needed to design the solution. The first part of the solution starts with a brief introduction of chosen company and its data warehouse department. This introduction includes basic information about data warehouse itself. Next are defined conditions that have an effect to the form of the project management process. Those conditions are the criteria, form and environment of release management and change requests. The solution design is based on those criteria and it using elements of PRINCE2 methodology. The organization structure of project is built first. The life cycle of project follows with its key milestones. The project management process is divided into phases according to the project lifecycle. The inputs, outputs, process activities diagrams and responsibility matrix are defined for each phase. The result of the solution is evaluated and compared against the PRINCE2 methodology from which it came from.
Project implementation of the new IS in company

The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to project management and foundations of information systems and information technology. The practical part of this thesis is a case study about an already closed project which handles implementation of a new information system in LeasePlan Czech Republic, Ltd. The main outcome of the case study is a comparison of project processes with the processes of the PRINCE2 methodology. The partial aim of the study is to identify the main threats that were found in the project. The outcome of this thesis is to propose recommendations and templates for the selected documents that can help manage and improve future projects in the company.
Application of project management in construction recreational wooden buildings

Thesis discusses the use of project management in practice. Practice in this sense, considering the timber and construction, or a combination of both. Construction of the playground, consisting mainly of wooden parts, is described as a project. In the beginning there are defined important concepts to understand the problems and outline general principles and rules for creating a project. In the practical part through decomposition of each activity gets a list of elements on which the process is demonstrated. Important part of the work is the chapter with a detailed description and timetable of activities. Scheduling methods CPM and PERT, these individual steps graphical map. In the discussion they mentioned the possibility of using the project management and the software support. Conclusion The thesis discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the use of project management for small entities dealing with the implementation of similar buildings.
The economic impact of structural policies

The theme of this thesis are the economic impacts of structural policies. The first part focus on policy economic and social cohesion, an analysis of the programming period from 2004 to 2006, from 2007 to 2013 and an analysis of the current situation and the objectives set up for the programming period from 2014 to 2020. The second part is using a linear regression model to making a proposal for an improvement of drawing grants from structural funds in the new budget period from 2014 to 2020. It also determine an economic determinants which are analyse and evaluated in terms of their development since the Czech republic joined the European Union. Finally the work identified and evalueted the benefits of structural policies in various areas.

The thesis tests the promotion of innovative educational portal Udemy.com that offers online education. Herewith the term "education" in this context means not qualification courses for the purpose of obtaining a university or other professional degree or diploma, but education for personal and professional development. Thus, this work tests only online form, not face-to-face education. The aim of the thesis was to test the effectiveness of the innovations and projects promoting to the venture investors and managers on the World Wide Web. In this relation project means a web site. The practical part includes mainly the study of forms and channels of promotion, the effectiveness of the forms and channels and the impact of adding the component medias in order to shorten the introduction process of an innovation project Udemy.com. We are interested in medias from which the potential customers perceive the advertising and promoting of online education and which form of promotion induces them to involve in online courses participation.
State employment policy and the European Social Fund

The Bachelor thesis under the name of The State employment policy and the European Social Fund deals with the problems of unemployment at general level and the tools leading to its solution in the frame of the European Community as well as the national policy. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first theoretical part describes the unemployment, defines its types and results for every individual and the whole society. The ending of this part is dedicated to the characteristics of the European Social Fund and the active employment policy. The second analytical part describes the Ústí Region and its situation on the labor market and then there are characterized 3 projects of the ESF, on which is focusing own research. The third empirical part evaluates the quantitative research focused on the target group of project participants and employers involved in the project. The aim of this thesis is finding the answer on main research question on the basis of the research results: What effect have implemented projects on their participants and employers?
The Application of Procedures of Project Management in the Company TOTAL CZECH REPUBLIC Ltd.

This thesis will deal with mapping the current state of project management in TOTAL CZECH REPUBLIC Ltd., which is part of a multinational group called Total, which operates in more than 130 countries. TOTAL CZECH REPUBLIC Ltd. creates many projects, both independently of its international subsidiaries, as well as with their mutual cooperation. A partial goal of this thesis is with the help of specific project management methodology, to analyse the selected progress of the project and subsequently design optimization. Practical work will be concerned with analysis and comparison of the current state of project management at a selected project applying the procedures of the PRINCE2 methodology. Based on this analysis, proposed solutions will arise from the methodology to optimize and enhance the effectiveness of project management.

Application of project management methods in a selected company

This bachelor thesis handles with project management issues that has been very important and used approach in the implementation of new strategies, products or technologies for many years. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part introduces the most fundamental concepts of project management, organizational structure, project life cycle of the project and its individual phases. It also presents some methods and tools for project planning and risk management. In the practical part are firstly listed the most important methodologies for project management, and methodology by the PMI organization is characterized in more detail. Further in this part a practical example of project, including the division into sub-phases of its life cycle is presented. At the end of the main part are time, resource, budget, cost and SWOT analyzes. Knowledge from the theoretical part, software support (MS Excel and MS Project) and own knowledge of project management environment were used to the right conclusions of the analyses.
