Tool for easier automation visualisation creation in mapp View technology
Kseňak, Ján ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Poliščuk, Radek (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is create a program that will simplify development of automation visualizations using mappView technology in the development environment B&R Automation studio. The theoretical part of thesis contains more detailed description of mappView technology and its necessary components. At the beginning of the practical part is mentioned a selection of technologies that were used in development of the application, which should simplify development of mappView visualizations. Furthermore, in the practical part, we describe the architecture of application, the process of creating application, the design of a graphical user interface of application and the integration of application in the development environment B&R Automation studio. The last chapter shows the whole process of developing mappView visualizations in the development environment B&R Automation studio and the use of application in this process.
Vector graphic editor
Bartoněk, Jan ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a simple, yet powerful vector graphics editor. The research part of the thesis deals with the issue of computer graphics, its history, the division, and its basics concepts. Furthermore, this section discusses raster and vector graphics and last but not least, it lists and describes the most popular vector graphics editors. The vector graphics editor itself is programmed in Python using the PyQt5 library. Finally, the conclusion reviews and evaluates the work and its results.

Programming language Python and its suitability of his assignment to the tuition
Arendáč, Tomáš ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Oraný, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis is concerned by programming language Python and its suitability of his assignment to the tuition. The work is divided into three dominant parts. The first part describes programming language Python, its elementary characteristics and features. The purpose is to introduce its properties to the reader so that he could estimate if there is point in the deeper concern. There are elements of object-oriented programming in description, too. The second part analyses programming language Python on the basis of ten criteria which are defined considering applicability of the language in preliminary courses of programming. The purpose is to review if the Python is appropriate in these courses. The third part considers the possibilities of the Python tuition at the University of Economics in Prague. The main contribution of the thesis is to give opinion on the fundamental description of the language, to define framework and to pass judgment on the potential chance of use in preliminary courses of programming.
