Analysis of Economic Results of a Company Using Statistical Methods

This bachelor´s thesis discusses the economy of the company Aquatechnik s.r.o., and is more specifically focused on some entries in its accounting documents. The theoretical part of the thesis contains characterization of statistical methods that I used, followed by the introduction of the company, presentation of its profit calculations and its reached results and a final summary in conclusion. The goal of my thesis is the evaluation of costs, profits and other financial indices of the company.

Criteria Influencing Ski Resort Profits

The main goal of my work is to set the criteria which have an influence on the profit of the ski resorts. The topic deals with building valuation, public database and data about air temperature. The part of the thesis is about building valuation of two companies that own chosen ski resorts. The valuation is done by the definite valuation regulation, single objects in the way given by the valuation notice. For main influential criteria was needed to get the information about profit and expense, this information was necessary for assessment of the company profit. From this information we can say that gross profit relies on the rent which both companies have to pay for ski lift and lift area. Assessment of criteria is about the location of the ski resorts. The most important criteria are the accommodation capacity and the weather. The accommodation capacity is going together with attendance. Because of the possibility of sleeping over the visitors of the ski resorts, the weather and the air temperature have an influence on the snow quality and this is going together with the length of the skiing season.

Business Development in Social Services in the Region

The bachelor thesis focuses on financing of social services in the region. The thesis is specifically aimed at chosen retirement homes in the South Bohemian region. The aim of the study is to analyze and compare the financing of these retirement homes. These homes have different founders - the state, the municipality, or a private entity The theoretical part of the work contains description and explanation of basic terms and definitions, which serve for better understanding of the topic. For the practical part, chosen retirement homes were contacted. Based on personal visits, the data necessary for financial analysis was provided. This data consists of profit and loss statements, annual reports and additional information. In conclusion, the chosen retirement homes were compared in the areas of cost efficiency and profits, which represent the financial sources to cover the costs, using the method of costs per bed in a given time interval. The comparison is aimed at financial resources in the present according to the law n. 108/2006 Coll. about social services.

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to follow up the problems especially of financing of social services. The aim of this thesis is to analyse and compare the financing of the retirement homes. Social services are provided to people, who have problems to succeed in the labour market such as graduates or disadvantaged people who need the help of another person, for example handicapped or seniors. The work follows a pattern of Act No. 108/2006 Coll., On Social Services. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part describes the basic terms such as social services and their financing. I also explain the basic terms related to the effeciency, the financial plan and the community planning. The practical part deals with the basic description of the retirement homes, which have different founders and the financing of these retirement homes. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes the result of the analysis, which goals was to find out, which of the two retirement homes are funded efficiently, and which of the two retirement homes manage its costs.

The Master´s Thesis deals with analyze of total costs in transportation company JOLLY trans, s.r.o., where these costs are divided into operational and financial. This thesis is preparing data for a pricing of the transportation. Operational costs are divided into salary for driver, fuel and much more, there are a lot of hidden charges, that affect the final price of transportation. Financial costs are one of the highest costs in company accountancy, because this costs include purchase of a truck and semitrailer. This thesis focus on optimization of this financial costs to save the money. Main goal of this Master´s Thesis is to set the minimal price that transportation company is able to offer to the customer to take profits. And then suggest how to cut the costs to realize higher profit.

Bachelor thesis focuses on observation of the costs, revenues and profits in a manufacturing company. In the theoretical part these terms are explained in more detail and characterized. This part also describes transformation of profits into the tax base. In the practical part first the costs and revenues are divided into operating, financial and extraordinary. Then the costs and revenues items are analysed. The profits are calculated from the difference between revenues and costs. There are suggested cost savings for the cost items and the increase for the revenues.
