Acting as both a profession and a study programme
Vaculíková, Šárka ; SLAVÍKOVÁ, Eva (advisor) ; POKORNÁ, Jaroslava (referee)
In my bachelor thesis Acting as both a Profession and a Study Programme I describe my experience with various methods of acting. I go through examples from my own career in the theatre and in the television and film-making with focus on the possible advantages and disadvantages of working with pedagogues and directors. I examine how their experience and techniques could and have helped me develop both as an actress and as a person and if their advice pushed me forward in my pursuit of theatrical education or rather held me back and how my own approach to acting has changed through the course of my career.
Employees With Special Needs
JANČOVIČOVÁ, Nikola
At present, almost every top manager is struggling with stress and the effects associated with it. The aim of the thesis discusses two basic groups of workers - occupations that involve increased risk, problems solving and increased mental and emotional burden (managerial occupations, professions in the military, ...). And the workers who found themselves in the short-term unfavourable situation that burdens them as well as their surroundings. We must be familiar with basic concepts, history, leadership and the problems associated with this profession in order to approach the topic. Status of women and men in leadership positions and expert opinions how to manage best stressful situations are observed. Data obtained from eight managers from different companies are gathered through interviews. Results are obtained from graphs and tables. Based on the data and their analysis, problem areas are defined and appropriate recommendations to managers are made.
