Application of Industry 4.0 elements in production lines

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of using Industry 4.0 elements in production lines in order to improve the characteristics of these lines and reduce the workload of employees. In addition to an introductory presentation of the concepts related to the topic, the reader can read about the current state of a particular line and proposals for its modification using Industry 4.0. One of these proposals is then elaborated in more detail in the following section, including risk analysis and technical calculations. The main objective of the proposal is to increase the performance of this line as significantly as possible.

The Use of Artificial Intelligence for Optimization of Production

This paper deals with the problem of optimization of a production plan by using genetic algorithms. It contains a brief overview of the principles behind genetic algorithms in scope of evolutionary algorithms and artificial intelligence in general. It also takes a closer look on the challenge of production planning and control and all activities connected to it. This is followed by description of the modification of genetic algorithms that needed to be done in order to implement it into a computer program, which is used to create and optimize the production plan, and is a result to the issue that this paper deals with. Incorporated is detailed escription of principles and functions of the program, that it offers to its users.

Práce hodnotí možnosti zavedení dílčích logistických, kvalitativních a výrobních procesů při plánování výrobní linky. V práci jsou popisovány jednotlivé metody, které umožňují docílit zkapacitnění výrobní linky. V oblati mikrologistiky se jedná především o formy zásobování - milkrun, zásobování zezadu, přeseřízení v taktu, nivelizace, v oblasti kvality - Poka-Yoke, 5S a v oblasti výroby - Hanedashi, ztaktování linky, flexibilní počet lidí na lince.
