Prediction of the atmospheric turbulence
Sloboda, Šimon ; Barcík, Peter (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
The aim of this work is to examine theoretical knowledge of the refractive index structure parameter and models for its calculation and prediction. Based on data downloaded from meteorological services, the accuracy of refractive index structure parameter prediction using Sadot-Kopeika model was evaluated at ten different locations on Earth. A program was created for the calculation and prediction of the refractive index structure parameter, which uses downloaded meteorological data.
Application of Mathematical and Statistical Methods in Company Management
System for Opening a Window Based on the Temperature and CO2 Concentration in the Room
Jůza, Tadeáš ; Bardonek, Petr (referee) ; Tisovčík, Peter (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to enable an automated maintenance of fresh air in a room. Using automated ventilation, so the smallest possible heat losses occur. The data from sensors of indoor and outdoor temperature, CO2, humidity, and window opening status have been collected and analyzed. Then a suitable algorithm has been selected to accomplish the required values. The program also contains an algorithm for predicting the system's behavior so the controlled appliances (window and heating) work together appropriately.
Modeling the movement of people when organizing festival events
Žalská, Kateřina ; Uhlík, Ondřej (referee) ; Okřinová, Petra (advisor)
The thesis deals with modeling the movement of people during the music festival Hradecký Majáles. This mass event is very popular in Hradec Králové, and its attendance reaches 17 thousand people. The thesis is focused on optimalization of the normal operation of the event, prediction of possible obstacles and possible danger. For analysis a few verification scenarios are created, including the scenario involving the emergence of danger and following simulation of evacuation of people. Within the analysis the key variables such as density, evacuation time and LoS. The critical places where people could get hurt, are selected. The new security precautions or optimization of site geometry optimizations are suggested for these places. In the conclusion of the 3 thesis is performed efficiency evaluation of the suggested changes resulting from the performed analysis.

Assessment of Selected Indicators of an International Company Using Statistical Methods
Zouharová, Daniela ; Špačková,, Romana (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the assessment of the economic situation of a selected company using statistical methods. The theoretical part describes the financial indicators, time series and regression analysis. The analytical part contains the calculation of selected indicators, which are subjected to statistical analysis. Based on the statistical analysis, the future development of indicators in the next two years is predicted. The last part contains suggestions that can lead to the improvement of the current situation of the company.
Assessment of the Economic Situation of the Parent Company Using Statistical Methods
Zborovská, Marie ; Maňáková, Marie (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The master‘s thesis examines the issue of the interconnection of market potential with financial indicators and other variables. Data from the financial statements of ABC, s. r. o. operating on the Slovak IT market are used. The dependence of market potential and other market variables was evaluated using statistical methods. Subsequently, the analysis of selected financial indicators of the company ABC, s. r. o. is statistically evaluated and the dependence with market potential is verified. Thanks to the results, the company's proposals are determined, taking into account the current situation in the world.
Application of Statistical Methods in Assessing Selected Indicators of a Company
Hodulíková, Eva ; Dobešová, Romana (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the application of statistical methods in assessing selected indicators of the company ABC, Ltd. This work is divided into three parts. The first part explains the terms related to financial indicators, macroeconomic indicators, regression and correlation analysis and also, this part of the work explains the matters of time series. The second part contains an analysis of the current state. Individual analyses of indicators and their predictions are performed in it. Also, there is a research concerning the influence of macroeconomic indicators on the financial performance of ABC, Ltd. In The last part of this diploma thesis, changes are proposed that should lead to the improvement of the current situation of the company.
Deviations prediction in timetables based on AVL data
Jiráček, Zbyněk ; Martínek, Vladislav (advisor)
Relevant path planning using public transport is limited by reliability of the transportation network. In some cases it turns out that we can plan paths with respect to expected delays and hereby improve the reliability of the resulting path. This study focuses on prediction of the delays in public transport systems using data from vehicle tracking systems -- known as the AVL data. These data are typically collected by the transit operators. Various algorithms are compared using real data from Prague trams tracking system. The study also includes a discussion about a possible utilization of the information gained from the used methods in passenger information systems. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Prediction of graft function development and rejection of transplanted kidney
Wohlfahrtová, Mariana ; Viklický, Ondřej (advisor) ; Zadražil, Josef (referee) ; Reischig, Tomáš (referee)
Improving the short-term results of kidney transplantation did not result in improving the long-term function and survival of kidney allograft. Organ shortage and increasing number of marginal donors remains the key problem in transplant today. The quality of donor organ is critical for graft function development and survival. The aim is to improve understanding to ischemia/reperfusion injury and its consequences, predict delayed graft function and rejection, improve organ allocation strategy and identify patients suitable for safe drug minimization or complete withdrawal of immunosuppressive therapy. Analysis of donor kidneys identified poor tubular cell quality and low survival factor, Netrin-1 expression levels, to be associated with delayed graft function. We confirmed that reperfusion phase of ischemia/reperfusion injury leads to minimal morphological but significant molecular abnormalities. Dissociation observed in histology and molecular pathology finding calls for an integrated approach in donor quality organ evaluation and allocation for transplantation. Significant heterogeneity within donors with expanded criteria was shown and subgroup of organs at low risk of delayed graft function was identified. We suggested donor biopsies to be performed as a routine praxis in all kidneys...
