This bachelor´s thesis is focused on materials based on cermets which are designed for the machining of components. The first part describes a short classification and charasteristics of cutting materials used in machining. Second part is focused on the history of development of the cermets, their structure, production, chemical and mechanical properties. The current condition of range of the most known producers of cutting materials is described in the last part of this thesis.
Common Rail System in Passenger Cars

Bachelor thesis is focused on the Common Rail system. On the whole this work shows that the Common Rail system is one of the top system in the automobile industry. It is thus clear that the system conforms to all current requirements, which must be taken into account when designing the car.Therefore, this bachelor thesis focuses mainly on the description of this system.When closer examination of this issue, I also concluded that the combined injection units as such are able to cope with the Common Rail system.
Summary of Micro Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

This bachelor’s thesis deals with summary of miniature unmanned aerial vehicles. There is a reference to their historical development, the categorization of unmanned aerial vehicles and definition of category MAV. The thesis contains overview of some chosen representative members of category MAV and their parameters and picture documentation. The last part of this thesis deals with possible applications and basic information about artificial intelligence used for controlling these aerial vehicles.
Syntax of Adjective Compounds in a Bilingual Dictionary

The aim of the given thesis is to expound the problem of syntax processing by creating adjectival compounds in dictionary entries for the Large German-Czech Academic Dictionary. Assuming that exactly these words, which belong to the complicated vocabulary items, cause difficulties for foreign speakers with text comprehension and text production. It is based on the nature of German language, which makes many compounds, as opposed to in Czech language. Not only are the meanings of these words revealed to be problematic, but also their usage. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with characteristics of adjectives as word class, and because each word always has its context, attention will be primarily focused on the adjectival valency. Previously, only the valency of verbs and substantives has been discussed. When a native speaker automatically knows these syntax structures and even when, in case of foreign language, there could exist structural similarities between the source and target language, the structures ought consequently to be given in the dictionary. In some mono- or bilingual dictionary the user should find complex informations for word searched. Slate gas and the prospects of its energy exploitation

First part of bachelor thesis introduces the concept of shale gas - what is the nature of the gas, why it is called shale, etc. Then there is described the technology of mining and acquisition of gas. Another chapter informs about shale gas reserves in the world, its importance and the planned career intentions. Very important part of this work is to look at the impacts of extraction of this gas, in particular climate change, water and soil pollution, impacts on the population, but also other phenomena, such as earthquakes caused by the extraction of this shale gas. The last part is the chapter on the current situation of shale gas exploration in the Czech Republic. At the conclusion, the whole situation regarding shale gas is evaluated and my own views on this extraction are presented.

Bachelor thesis deals with enzymes and their use in wine production. The work also deals with their influence on wine, both in terms of color and aroma, as well as taste. The first part of the bachelor's thesis contains not only wine regions and wine varieties, but also the composition of grapevine. Another area that is included in the first part is the general concepts of enzymes. The second part describes the technology of wine production, the use of enzymes in the technology. Finally, the types of closures and the stand for their production are described.

The bachelor thesis “The usage of rice in the food industry“ is divided into three parts. The first part describes morphological and anatomical structure, the conditions and the methods of growing, production, consumption and import of rice to the Czech Republic. The second part focuses on the chemical composition of the grain, the subsequent pro-cessing, rice species and the rice products. The sensory questionnaire was created in the last practical part and six rice species were evaluated graphically according to him. The best was the arborio rice and the worst wild rice.

The first part of this diploma thesis is dealing with the usage of roses from the garden and landscape architecture perspective. Taxonomy of roses, their botanical description, spread, usage and history of growing and improvement were described. Another part of this diploma thesis focused on research of period rose assortment, more specifically on its range and possibilities of particular strains usage. Subsequently, availability of period assortment strains in the current market was determined. All information has been recorded in the summary table, which was further analyzed.
