This bachelor thesis is dealing with leaflet campaigns of subjects operating in the market with food products in Czech Republic. It analyses consumer perception of these leaflet campaigns, defines, how are they dealing with these, how the consumers are affected by these and describes their preferences from the perspective of this issue. Thesis gives to subjects single recommendations on the base of detected results from primary and secondary sources. Primary data was obtained from questionnaire research. In conclusion the segments of customers was defined, for which were leaflet campaigns suited.
Možnosti podnikání v maloobchodě v Nedvědici

This bachelor thesis portrays business opportunities in retail trade in assortment of foods, chemical goods, household items, gardening supplies and building materials in the town of Nedvědice. The theoretical part provides insight related to retail and retail networking, the classification and the location of retail units, and also about consumer goods and retail communication with customers. The thesis characterizes business in the defined range of goods and the retail business under the Trade Licensing Act. The analysis of the present state of selected retail stores in the town of Nedvědice is further described in the practical part of this thesis. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, business plan for setting up a retail unit with an assortment of building materials is processed, and also measures for its implementation are suggested. The findings are summarized in the closing part of this bachelor thesis.

This bachelor thesis analyses the purchasing behaviour of consumers on the food market in the Czech Republic and in the Republic of Finland. It focuses on the differences in purchase decisions. It examines the attitudes which lead consumers to choose products with national markings and defines the factors which have influence on buyer. Furthermore, it determinates the current state of national marking and composition of stores in Finland and in the Czech Republic.

Diploma thesis deals with optimal capital structure of enterprise operating in food industry. Optimal capital structure is suggested in relation with long term planned investments. Thesis provides evaluation of financial situation of the enterprise. Than strategical analysis is done, in which investment project is evaluate. The output of strategical analysis is prognosis of revenues. On basis of it is complied long term financial plan of the enterprise followed by proposal optimal financial structure.
Trends in law of agricultural animal products in the Czech Republic in 1990 - 2012

The thesis deals with development of legislation regulations in the field of agricultural products of animal origin in the period 1990 - 2012. The system of regulations of the Czech Republic is described in the introduction, followed by basic insight into the individual categories of animal products. Specific legislation applies to some categories, in such an instance the regulations are described separately for a particular product, including their development. A group of related agricultural products is concluded by a summary of legislation common for that group. A summary of regulations together with the fields they apply to in chronological order according to the effective dates form an annex to the thesis.
Meaning and resource of selenium in human nutrition

Bachelor's thesis concentrates on functions of selenium in human nutrition. Selenium is an essential trace element of importance to human health. Its availability depends on the concentration of selenium in the soil. The average income of selenium in the Czech population are usually 36 g/day per individuals. Excess or insufficient selenium intakes can result in adverse effects on human health. The most important sources of selenium in the diets of most people are meat, fish, eggs, milk, cereals and nuts. Selenium plays an important role in a number of metabolic functions including antioxidant systems, thyroid hormone metabolism, immune function and reproduction. Low selenium status are associated with increased risk of mortality, poor immune function, and cognitive decline, while high selenium status cause garlic breath, hair and nail loss, disorders of the nervous system and skink and poor dental health. Amount of selenium and its need changes during life. Recommended doses of selenium for women are 55 g/day and for men 70 g/day. Pregnant and lactating women require an average of 65-75 g selenium/day. Selenium deficiency in women causes problems with pregnancy, fetal malformations or postnatal complications. Newborn baby receives in breast milk about 10 g selenium/day. The recommended doses for children are in the range of 20-30 g selenium/day. The lack of selenium in seniors causes loss of muscle mass and strenght. Conversely sufficient doses of selenium can prevent the development of osteoporosis and various health complications. During sport aktivity, in the body there arise a large amount of free radicals and that is why it is necessary to suply the body of a sufficient amount of selenim, which helps prevent with its antioxidant effect oxidative damage of the muscles. The population exposed to low levels of selenium, the lack can be increased by use of dietary supplements with selenium.
The eating habits of primary school pupils

The bachelor thesis deals with the eating habits of a group of 50 pupils of 9th grade in the age of 14-15 of primary school of John Amos Comenius in Blatná. Detects eating habits and food preferences of the basic questionnaire. Energy intake of 30 pupils of 9th grade was determined weekly processing of their diet. The aim of this work was as accurately as possible to find out how puberty in the age of 14-15 currently eat and what their caloric intake throughout the week is. The results of the survey are entered in the tables and food preferences graphically illustrated in the practical part. At the weekly menus were the values entered in the tables and added value of BMI. The data show that boys or girls are below the recommended nutritional values.
