Evaluation of Organization Culture for Creating Business Ethics Policy

The thesis deals with a concept of corporate culture as an important supposition of business ethics. In the first theoretical part, based on existing body of literature and research, the issue of corporate culture and its significant impacts on functioning and effectiveness of a particular organization is described. In the empirical part, the corporate culture of a specific organization is analyzed and described using the data obtained from The Denison Organizational Culture Survey (by Denison and Neal). Based on the research results, measures leading to the change of existing corporate culture are suggested.

Thesis deals with exposition of economic thinking of the School of Salamanca. First chapter is an exposition of the selected representatives from the preceding tradition. Second chapter consists in the exposition of works from selected authors about theory of value. Third chapter is concerned with the money market and the question whether it is usurious. In this works of selected authors from the School of Salamanca are presented. Fourth chapter is devoted to the topic of ownership and fifth to public finance.

Diploma thesis deals with the issue of social responsibility in selected medical facilities in Olomouc Region. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts which are related to the social responsibility. In particular, they are interested groups, business ethics and corporate philantrophy. The actual part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of social responsibility of three healthcare facilities. After evaluating their existing social responsibility, at the and of the work, specific recommendations and measures in the area of CSR are proposed, which in the case of their implementation, could help the investigated entities to assist in their further activities.

The bachelor thesis follows up on social responsibility of company Atlas Copco Services s.r.o. The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to propose measures on an extension and improvement of social responsibility activities. The literature review describes corporate social responsibility and its related concepts. The results part of the thesis first evaluates the current status of social responsibility in the company. Three extensive proposals of corporate social responsibility are then made based on the results of a survey.

Míra efektivity implementace etického kodexu v pojišťovnictví v ČR

The thesis deals with the ethics and ethical code in the insurance industry in the Czech Republic, which aim is to clarify the implementation of this code and the effectiveness of its use in practice. The achievement of the objective was accompanied by the elaboration of a literature search and a research part consisting of three methods. From the quantitative survey that applied to member insurance companies of the Czech Insurance Association and to insurance intermediaries, members of the Czech Association of Financial Advisory and Mediation Companies. In addition, a qualitative survey was filled in by workers from the field who hold higher positions and the third method was a comparison of ethical codes of the aforementioned associations. The results show an unsatisfactory level of implementation of the ethical code in Insurance industry and its lack of efficiency within individual companies. The thesis proposes appropriate measures that could positively influence this problem in the future.

Politics of Corporate Hospitality in Light of Christian Ethics

The Diploma Thesis "Corporate Hospitality Policy in the Light of Christian Ethics" deals with the question whether there is a fair form and degree of rationalized corporate hospitality compatible with the bases of both general and Christian ethics. The thesis presents a comprehensive view of a wide range of approaches to corporate hospitality from selfless, over rationalized, up to binding, manipulating and corrupt. Corporate hospitality is a very current, widely used management tool. It can be a gratitude for cooperation, expression of regard and respect for a business partner, or demonstration of openness to future cooperation. However, corporate hospitality need not always be a step toward the other's unsecured space, but on the contrary, the effort to pre-ensure that space, and gain an advantage. Such hospitality can bind or even manipulate a business partner, with the goal of getting a job, insuring co-operation, or facilitating a way to profit. Such hospitality is already on the brink of corruption. An important part of the work is therefore to define corporate hospitality in relation to corruption and a deeper assessment of individual approaches to corporate hospitality. Ethics in employment of third-country nationals in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the ethical standards that should be comply by Czech employers in the context of third country nationals' employment. The theoretical part is focused on labor migration and on the process of third country nationals' employment in the Czech Republic. It also refers to the main points of business ethics within the relationship between employer and employees. The practical part of thesis contains a general summary of current ethical rules that should be respected by employers. In the next section there is, in specific cases described the current state of ethical standards within the relationship between employers and interviewed employees, who belong to the third country nationals group.

Corporate Social Responsibility in Engineering Company

This diploma thesis is focused on corporate social responsibility. It analyses current situation in area of CSR incompanies situated in Czech Technology Park Brno. Further it analyses attitude to this topic from point of view of the czech company TOS – Kuřim OS, a.s. specialized in civil engineering. It includes suggestions how to strenghten corporate environment and reliability as well as the image of the company.
