Abstract of the diploma thesis: The theoretical part of this diploma thesis deals with the elaboration of the topics of entrepreneurship with specifics arising from the fields of health care, occupational therapy, including the conditions of providing health care and the legislative support of business, knowledge about the acquisition of entrepreneurial competencies and addressing ethical and quality issues of services provided. The practical part includes qualitative analysis of in-depth interviews conducted with seven occupational therapists who have established and successfully run private practice. The aim of the research interview was to obtain descriptive information about private occupational therapists' private businesses and to map their personal experiences of entrepreneurship.
