Training of swimmers of younger school age in water rescue service the sports section of Klatovy

The diploma thesis focuses on the preparation and training of swimmers of younger school age in the water rescue service in the sports department of Klatovy, who attend elementary school. The goal of the work is to improve the training of individuals, which will be monitored by heart rate and through special swimming tests, which are determined by the association of water rescue services. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with rescue sports disciplines such as individual pool disciplines 200 meters Obstacle Swim, 50 meters Manikin Carry, 100 meters Rescue Medley, 100 meters Manikin Tow with Fins, 100 meters Manikin Carry with Fins, 200 meters Super Lifasaver, relay pool disciplines Line Throw, Manikin Relay (4 × 25 m), Obstacle Relay (4 × 50 m), Medley Relay (4 × 50 m), Pool Lifesaver Relay (4 × 50 m). The theoretical part of the thesis also describes sea and beach disciplines, which are also part of rescue sports and which include Surf Race, Beach Flags, Beach Sprint, Surf Ski Race, Board Race, Oceanwoman/Oceanman in the individual categories and in the Oceanwoman/relay category Oceanman, Boarder Rescue, Beach Relay, Rescue Tube Rescue. Evolution of the performance of European junior medalists from the years 2000-2008 in swimming

Title: Evolution of the performance of European junior medalists from the years 2000-2008 in swimming. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to find out if the swimmer who won a medal at the European Junior Championship in the period 2000-2008, continue swimming career for the next five years. The period of five years was set to get adulthood of competitors and unification length exploration of all competitors. Methods: For obtain the informations we have chosen the method of study documents - scorecards. Because of theme of thesis was the collection of data taken from European Junior scorecards in the years 2000-2008, the European Championships at the SC in the years 2001- 2013, from the Olympic Games in 2004, 2008, 2012. Results: Outcomes of our research showed that the more than half of competitors that have succeeded at the European Junior Championships in 2000-2008 failed to qualify for any additional European Championships in a SC. At the final evaluation of the collected informations, we found that only less than one fifth of the competitors were able to qualify at the European championships in 2000-2008. The development of world swimming records in the period 1988-2016

Title: The development of world swimming records in the period 1988-2016 The Aim: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find and compare the development of the world swimming records in the last seven Olympic cycles, in 1988-2016. All individual swimming disciplines were the subject of reseach in the category of men and women swimming in a 50-meter pool. The effort was to assess the progress of the records of individual disciplines, swimming styles and records of men and women. The methods: Data in the bachelor thesis were obtained using the method of examinig historical documents. Data processing and evaluation was done with tabulation sorting and graphic view. The personal archive of the honorary chairman of the Czech Association of Swimming Sports and Swimming Internet Statistics based on the FINA database were the fundamental data source. The Results: The value increase of world records was found in both categories and in all disciplines, in men on average by 4, 48%, in women by 4, 19%. Men managed to swim more world records (men 204, women 177) in the period under review. The world records of men for 100 m breast (7,33%) and 100 m backstroke (6,02%), and the world records of women for 50 m butterfly (7,95%) and 50 m backstroke (5,98%) were improved most. Swimming career of top swimmers in the pupil and junior categories

Title: Swimming career of top swimmers in the pupil and junior categories Objectives: The aim of my bachelor thesis is to compare the swimming career development of pupil and junior swimming categories at the selection of the senior national team for 2019/2020. Methods: The data were obtained by examining of documents of written and electronic statistics, as well as by calculating of FINA point calculator and the formula itself for their creation. The data were presented using descriptive statistics, tables and graphical representation. Results: It is possible to confirm by the result of thesis, that the most of swimmers trained in accordance with long-term development pattern. Female performance in pupil and junior categories are evaluated according to FINA points of higher quality than male one. Male performance development in pupil and junior categories is found out as smoother and more fluent in a long as well as short swimming pool. Body height of top swimmers

Title: Body height of top swimmers Objectives: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out the profile of finalists and semi-finalists of the Olympic Games in 2012 in Lonod and 2016 in Rio de Janeiro in term sof body height. The thesis compares the height profile of the participants on the olympic games in the categories of men and women in general according to the individual swimming strokes, disciplines and lenit of the tracks. Methods: Data were obtained through secondary data sources from the internet. The Data was then interpreted using descriptive static characteristics. The presentation of the results of the selected variables were used pivot tables and graphical display. Results: The survey included a total of 327 male swimmers and 296 female swimmers who competed in the semi-finals and finals at the 2012 olympics and 2016. The average body height of the men was 188 cm for women and 175 cm for women. The utmost highest height of the swimmers is in the range of 200-203 cm for men and 188-189 cm for women. At more than half of the final swim- offs we find a higher average height of the swimmers. Title: Evolution of the performance of European junior medalists from the years 2000 - 2008 in swimming Objective: The aim of the Thesis is to find out whether swimmers who won a medal at the European Junior Championship in the period 2000-2008 continue swimming careers for the next five years. Methods: We chose the method of data analysis to describe the process of swimming careers. Data were obtained from scorecards of the European Junior Championships 2000 - 2008, European Championship in short pool 2001-2013 and the Olympic Games 2004, 2008, 2012. Results: Our survey shows that 70% of swimmers after their medal success at the European Junior Championship in 2000-2008 managed to qualify for the upcoming European Championship in the period. Analysis of collected data shows that 25% of competitors achieved medals at the European Championships in the years 2001-2013. Based on our research we can deduce that the most of the medalist from the European Junior Championship do not continue swimming careers in their adulthood.
