Selected Specifics of Payroll Accounting as a Consequence of Legislative Changes

The thesis is focused on the changes in wage accounting in response to changes of Czech legal standards. Information obtained through interviews with an accountant of the chosen organization Head Sport s. r. o. is used for analysis. Problematic sections are consulted with payroll accountant of EPLAN spol. s r.o. Firstly, labour relations, different forms of remuneration, vacation, home office, contributions to public health insurance, social insurance and other substantial theory are analysed. The practical part describes the effect of legislative changes in the area of selected specifics of wage accounting. At the same time, it evaluates the suitability and usability of software in the field of payroll accounting for needs of the entity as a result of the application of legislative changes. Emphasis is also placed on newly created forms or applications. Finally, there is an evaluation of the impact of legislative changes on selected specifics of payroll accounting and the usability of existing payroll accounting software following the application of legislative changes.

Payroll Accounting in Staffing Agency

This bachelor thesis presents the insight into functioning of staff agencies and processes which lead to payroll processing in such an agency. At the same time it aims to approach the selected aspects from the field of agency employment and payroll accounting. The work also contains a description of the process of filling the data relating to payroll and personnel administration into the system. It also includes the correct calculation of wages according to the applicable legislation. Last but not least the work analyzes the processing of payroll and a personal agenda in a particular agency in terms of the most common mistakes in the area of payroll accounting. Proper processing, calculation and accounting is also explained practically on individual examples. In conclusion, the work focuses on suggesting possible changes. This thesis is processed by using the documents of the staff agency JR Profiservice, s. r. o.

The payroll accounting in the Czech republic and Slovakia

The bachelor thesis deals with differences in payroll accounting in the Czech and Slovak republic. Introductory part defines individual legislative terms in labor relations, types of working relations and ways of renumerating employees. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the issue of taxation of income of naturals persons from employment activity, construction of tax and calculation of the tax advance. In addition, it analyzes the current form of legislation on social security and public health insurance. Last but not least, the thesis deals with an example of a particular process of charging wages, taxes and social insurance. The final section shows the practical procedure for calculating net wage, costs per employee and comparison of system benefits in both countries

The Bachelor Thesis presents a unified view of outsourcing, focusing on the outsourcing of the payroll department. The work begins by defining the terminology linked to outsourcing and continues by comparing its advantages, disadvantages and associated risks. The thesis then presents justifications for the decision to outsource. It describes the field of payroll accounting, defines its processes and explains the role of a payroll accountant in a company. The practical section of the thesis analyses an outsourcing relationship, focusing on procedures and processes. It elucidates the difference between partial, total outsourcing and internal payroll, as well as other uses of outsourcing a company may use.

Accounting and tax issues in employment of foreigners

The diploma thesis deals with the overview of all aspects of international employment (taxes, accounting, immigration, social security and health insurance issues) that could be crucial for a company willing to employ foreigners coming to the Czech Republic. The main goal of the thesis could be defined as to perform all above mentioned areas of international employment in details in order to present a complete overview that was achieved primarily through the research of the Czech legislation as well as international tax law. Another aim of the diploma thesis was to show the differences between employment of Czechs and foreigners. Several examples presented in the last chapters were mostly intended to give some practice illustrations of how all the issues described in the thesis could appear together in real company and how the company should deal with them.

Diploma thesis deals with payroll accounting in terms of labor law, health, social security and payroll taxes. The aim is to show how the wage is calculated with respect to the current legislation in 2014 and to clarify what influences the amount of net monthly income of employees. An important part of this work is to compare the calculation of wages of Slovak and Czech employees and analysis of the differences in their net income.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the impact of legislative changes to payroll accounting and their application in the case of an entity. The most significant changes working in this company in terms of wages, which took place during the years 2011 to 2014, were selected. During the reporting period these changes have occurred in areas such as wage compensation for temporary inability for work, in the field of tax deductions and in the claim to the tax credit. In 2014, the border of withholding tax was moved.

Accounting and tax aspects of labour regulations

The aim of this thesis is to describe the factors which influence the amount of the employee's wage and the tax base for the calculation of tax on personal income. Chapters therefore deal with the conclusion of the employment contract and the commencement of employment, on the rules of remuneration of employees under the Labor Code and related components of wages, then there is also mentioned reimbursement of expenses, which may arise in relation with the performing work, marginally are mentioned employee benefits. Other chapters deal with deductions from wages in the form of social security, health insurance and tax on personal income. Finally, there is an accounting of the facts, which have been mentioned in the course of thesis.

Diploma thesis deals with the issue of payroll accounting. The aim is to discuss the main areas of payroll accounting leading to the correct calculation of wages. These areas are mainly labour law, health insurance, social insurance and personal income tax. The thesis is supplemented by practical examples for better understanding of the issue. Each chapter also contains accounting of mentioned problems. The thesis focuses on changes in the area of wages including changes for the next years.
