Design of parking place in crematorium of Brno cemetry

The subject of this thesis is to solve the problem of the lack of the parking places at the city crematorium of the Central Cemetery of Brno. The main task is to deploy the parking lots on the northern and western side of the Central Cemetery. The parking lot on the western side should take into consideration the proposal for a new entrance from this side. This thesis also includes solutions for wheelchair access and for building a new bus stop.
Adjustment between junctions in the street Pod Hradbami - Velka Bites

This thesis addresses the traffic situation in the city of Velka Bites delay in the street Pod Hradbami. The proposed solution includes an adjustment of adjacent intersections. They are designed with two roundabouts together with a directional adjustment of individual strings attached communications. The draft has parking lot. Drawings are made in the range of documentation for building permit.
Apartment hotel

The subject of this thesis was to develop project documentation for building construction. It is a new four-storey house with restaurant, situated on the outskirts of the village Bridges at Jablunkova. The building is brick, has a two-level gable and shed roof, consisting of wood roof system. Slope of the parcel on which the house is located, allows the building of the plant into the ground. Because of this it is possible to enter it, either the main entrance to the first floor or building around and over the summer terrace come directly to the restaurant on the second floor. Above it are two more floors for hotel guests only, a total of 10 accommodation units with its own bathroom.
Residential building in Zlin

The aim of this thesis is to elaborate project documentation for new construction of low-energy residential building with 16 luxury apartments, apartment without barriers and with pharmacy of basic type. It is a four-storey detached building without basement, with flat roof, roof terraces and with balconies. Residential building is located in one of the most enjoyable parts of the city of Zlín – Jižní Svahy II in the vicinity of Central park with bicycle path and with beautiful view of the Zlín. The building will be located on land plot No. 2144/46, where is still situated unfinished building "Torso" from the late 80 years. The residential building is designed in brick system Heluz, ceiling construction is made up of prestressed hollow core slabs, perimeter walls are with external thermal insulation composite system and external doors and windows are made of plastic and aluminum with triple glazing. For heating and water heating will be utilized renewables energy, such as heat pump and solar collectors. Residential units with three residential rooms are designed with a forced ventilation by means of ventilation units with heat recovery. The building also uses modern shielding elements such as outdoor blinds and horizontal sun breakers. The part of the project are also disposition studies, seminar work and energy part.
HST Station at the Airport Brno Tuřany

This diploma thesis was prepared as an architectural study. The subject of the proposal was design of VRT station in Brno-Tuřany, near Brno airport. It was designed station building with platforms and four tracks. Two of them are passable and the other two are stationary. Rails leads below ground level. Above the rails is rail station that connect both areas next the rail corridor. Railway station serves primarily to transfer between rail and air transport.
Transfer terminal IDS JMK by the railway station Brno-Řečkovice

The subject of diploma thesis is a blue-print of appropriate adjustment space by the railway station in Brno Řečkovice, in terms of road structures, so that it meets all requirements of public transfer terminal and IDS JMK. Terminal should server as a transfer station between bus service and pojected North-Southern Rail Diameter. In the terminal, there should be a continuity on systems P+R, K+R and B+R ensured. The project is dealing with a partial design of adjacent local roads. The work is processed in AutoCAD 2011, Bentley InRoads and Microsoft Office 2007.
Parking at Shopping Malls

This bachelor thesis deals with the problematic area of parking possibilities near shopping centres. The aim is to compare the amount of parking lots as already counted with according to ČSN 73 6110 in comparison with my own observation. The very first part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical analysis description according to ČSN 73 6110. The second part organises my own individual estimation and measurements along with the data evaluation. The final part weighs the comparison of given result with the figures given by the norm. The overall research is fully rounded up in the end.
Svitavy Town Square - Reconstruction Design

The subject of bachelor's thesis is the design of hard surfaces in the square in Svitavy (region of Pardubice). The proposal is to increase and improve the usability of cultural and civic public space. This will be achieved by changing the architextural arrangment of the reorganization of transport, which involves the partial diversion and relocation od parking spaces.
Research on parking in surroundings of Civil Engineering Faculty

This bachelor thesis explores stationary traffic in surroundings of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The research aims to discover impacts of a recent reconstruction and a simultaneous parking charge imposition of Veveří Parking Lot on drivers’ parking habits. The thesis is based on field surveys. Acquired data are used as background information for an analysis of parking spot day occupation and parking duration. Furthermore, the data measured at the parking lot are compared with data concerning other parking possibilities in the given area. Finally, a concept suggesting an optimal usage of parking areas is presented.
Is it efficient to park in resident zones for short time?

The Bachelor thesis examines whether it pays to drivers illegally park in residential zones. The work is focused on short-term parking on weekdays in the time interval 8:00 to 18:00 with a focus on Square Barikád in Prague 3. On the basis of their own data gained from 8 streets are calculated probabilities of penalty for illegally parking in residential and orange zones. Next there is calculated the expected loss in the optimistic, average and pessimistic option of penalized amount, which are compared with sure loss from paying parking fee of 40 Crowns per hour. The resulting findings show that the optimistic option and the average option are better for drivers to parking illegally in residential and orange zones and that unauthorized parking in the orange zone appears to be advantageous variant. Data were obtained from our own observations, then as provided by the city police for Prague 3 and from the Transport Department of City District Prague 3.
