New scene of the Beseda House in Vyškov - neoplasm in a historical setting

The main target was to create a new hall for 600 people. I tried to make a multifunctional hall which can be used as a theathre or a place for exhibition, balls etc. The apearence of the building is influenced by lack of space. The building was designed in minimalistic style. Facade reacts to historical setting. The building is composed from three mutually displaced blocks. Interier is also in minimalistic style. I used light colours and limited number of materials.

This diploma thesis is addressing the "National Performance of the Children's Choirs" in former Czechoslovakia and Czech Republic. It aims to map its beginnings in the early 1990s and follows its subsequent course and changes, primarily from an administrative viewpoint.
