Pedestrian bridge over the Dyje river in Břeclav
Tomášková, Eliška ; Kulhavý, Tomáš (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this master's thesis is the design and analysis of a concrete suspension footbridge, primarily focusing on the supporting structure. The strucutre was modeled in Midas Civil for longitudinal analysis, and additional model using SCIA Engineer was created to analyze the structure in a transverse direction. Assessment was done in line with valid standards.
Design of precast concrete hall
Prášek, Martin ; Nováček, Jan (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
Master’s thesis describes the structural design and static analysis of selected elements of prefabricated reinforced concrete industrial building, that will be used as storage hall. Purpose of thesis is elaboration of assembly drawings of the project documentation and drawings of formwork and reinforcement assembly of selected elements. Calculations were performed in computer programs for static analysis SCIA Engineer 16, IDEA StatiCa and FIN EC. Drawing were made in programs Allplan 2016 and AutoCad 2015.
Design of cable-stayed pedestrian bridge
Uher, Lukáš ; Kulhavý,, Tomáš (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims to design a structure of pedestrian bridge over the Svratka river. To make a preliminary study of possible bridging, three different outlines were drafted. The cable-stayed variant was selected for further analysis. Two towers, inclined in both their longitudinal and transverse direction, support a cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete deck through stay cables anchored in the tower and the deck. After determining the desired initial state, a finite element analysis was carried out using the Ansys software. The capacity of all main load-bearing elements was checked so it meets the ULS and SLS design criteria in accordance with EN 1992 codes.
Design of Load Bearing Concrete Structure
Klodner, Jan ; Vácha, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focusing on general issues of floor concrete slabs, technology, implementation, subsoil models, calculation of internal forces and design approaches. Based on these data the thesis monitors the behaviour of floor slabs according to the various parameters. It also includes three versions of design of the real floor slab, made of steel fibre reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete. Economic comparison is also included. In addition it developes a design of the chalice base and reinforced concrete column of the supporting hall system, instead of the original usual base with steel column.
Bridge in Lipová Lázně village
Christ, Roman ; Bezručová, Kristína (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of a perpendicular bridge structure across the Staříč River in the village of Lipová Lazne. The bridge translates communication II. class number 369, design category S7,5. Three design variants of the plate bridge are elaborated on a single field. The chosen variant is solved by means of an additional prestressed plate of a rectangular cross-section of height from 1000 mm to 920 mm in width and length of the supporting structure 20850 mm. The static model is solved as a simply supported plate with a bridging length of 18420 mm. The design was executed according to the standard ČSN-EN 1992-2. Calculation of load effects was performed using Scia Engineering 2019 software. Design and design assessments have been carried out according to the applicable regulations and norms.
BRIDGE ON D1 (LIETAVSKÁ LÚČKA - VIŠŇOVÉ) OVER VALLEY AT km 4.313
Hudyma, Nazar ; Dvořák, Tomáš (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The subject of this Master's thesis is the design of a road bridge on the D1 in the section Lietavská Lúčka - Višňové in the Žilina Region, Žilina District, Slovak Republic. The bridge is used to cross the valley in KM 4,313 and the road in KM 4,410. Three variants of bridging were proposed, but further in the work an assessment is made on one of the variants. The total length of the superstructure is 354.00 m, the theoretical total span of the structure is 352.00 m. The bridge has 4 spans and is constructed by free cantilever method .The locations of the supports were limited by unsuitable geological conditions at the construction site (active shear area in Quaternary sediments), especially in span No. 3 (span lenght 104.00 m) and span No. 4 (span lenght 75.00 m). The monolithic part of the bridge structure will be concreted by free cantilever method with the largest length of the cantilever 52.00 m. The outermost parts of fields No. 1 and No. 4 will be cast-in-place using fixed scaffolding.
Design of a one-span prestressed bridge over a local brook
Tomášková, Eliška ; Panáček, Josef (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is a design and evaluation of a one-span prestressed concrete road bridge. Out of two options, a slab bridge is selected for further assessment. This thesis aims to design and evaluate the construction on the basis of ULS and SLS criteria.
Design of prestressed bridge structure
Tylčer, Jan ; Rybák, Vít (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of a road bridge in Trutnov through local communication. It is designed prestressed dvoutrámová construction of two fields with twin inclined struts. It developed a detailed static analysis and the bridge is considered to I. and II. limit state according to European standards - Eurocode. It is prepared detailed drawings.
Reinforced concrete structure of the railway platform roofing
Vodová, Pavla ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis deals with assessment of existing damaged reinforced concrete strucutre of the railway platform roofing according to the original project documentation. Apart from assessment of existing structure, there is prepared a design of two alternative solutions. The first alternative is a remediation of damage structure with description of appropriate diagnostic methods for testing concrete structures and with description of technological process of implementation of remediation. The second alternative is design of completely new structure instead of existing one. This new structure is designed as a monolithic frame contruction with restraint reinforced concrete panel and one – step foundation block. In this bachelor’s thesis there were prepared a design and assessment of sub – sections and work – out appropriate drawing documentation. All static assessments are calculated according to ultimate limit state.
Structural assessment of the reinforced concrete chimney
Teplý, Jakub ; Hasala, Ivo (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is assessment of existing condition reinforced concrete factory chimney, who has undergone structural and technical survey, under which was found many failures caused of horizontally tension - significant vertical cracks in the chimney stack. The object of this work will also make appropriate proposals rehabilitation of concrete stack by design prestressed cables monostrand in horizontal direction, grouting open cracks and reprofiling surface of chimney stack.
