Spline trajectory in 5-axis milling
Ohnišťová, Petra ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is an introduction to the five-axis milling with polynomial trajectories. Part of this thesis is a description of the entire process of the forward engineering, a definition of different methods of trajectory generation, a basic mathematical description of the machined surface and generating a CNC program for five-axis machining centre with the Heidenhain control system.
The use of parametrical programming for complex part machining
Skácel, Jan ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Thesis consists of theoretical introduction to programming in G-code, underlying mathematical principles and methods how to program general curves and surfaces. There are seven exam
A design of five axis machining chuck
Holec, Štěpán ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with construction for five-axis machining. Objective was to design self-centering vise for five-axis milling. Thesis then includes overwiew of five-axis clamping and selection of manufacturers these clamping jigs. Furthermore, it contains necessary calculations to design of self-centering vise and design in CAD software.
Building of 5-axis milling machines
Andrýsek, Jakub ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This work is focused on the five-axis milling machines. The first section shortly describes the history of development, basic kinematic distributions and overview of the basic components of these machines. There are also described methods of detecting machine stiffness and calculation of the acceleration of the spindle. Work is also briefly engaged in reducing the energy demand of machine tools and intelligent systems, without which today's machines can not work already. In the second part are selected three machines from different manufacturers and compares their offered components and overall performances. The last part describes the calculation for the design of the drive spindle for the selected material and tools.
Cutting force analysis when 5-axis milling
Dvořáček, Jan ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on machining using the ball-end shank mill. Content of the preliminary part of the work is a shank mill characteristic and a consequent part shows a splitting of ball-end milling cutters, its application, the cutting tool geometry and a characteristic signs of machining. The cutting force model of the ball-end mill is presented as well. A part of proposed model is the conversion of the resultant force too. Practical part is aimed at cutting force analysis of the ball-end mill and the main purpose of this part is a quantification of the cutting force for different work piece tilt angles while milling is performed.
Design of rotary table for five-axes milling
Bajza, Stanislav ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a design of the rotary tilting table with controlled fourth and fifth axis. This table will be used as a supplementary equipment for three axis milling machine. The table should be used for finishing and milling of special shapes. First part includes the research of pivotally tilting tables. Second part includes choise of technical data, justification of data, design and choice of the best design.
