Title: Comparison of the volume and intensity of physical activity of preschool children participating in organised and non-organized physical activity Objectives: The aim of the study is to compare the volume and intensity of physical activity in five to six-year-old children who attend a gymnastics preparation and children who attend just leisure time activities. Methods: This is a theoretical-empirical thesis in which two one-time measurements were made on the sample of 34 girls aged five to six years, divided into two groups (MŠ and GYM) based on their participation in organised or leisure-time physical activity. Accelerometers (Actigraph GT9X) and a weekly physical activity form were used to monitoring of physical activity. Statistical methods used for data analysis and evaluation included the Shapiro-Wilk test, Mann-Whitney U-test, two-sample T-test, Chi-square test, and descriptive statistical methods. Results: Results of the Mann-Whitney U-test and two-sample t-test performed to determine the difference in the volume of physical activity at all intensity levels in the observed groups of MŠ and GYM show that there are statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) in the cases of the total volume of physical activity per week at all intensity levels and at the light intensity level. Bibliographical identification Title of Bachelor work: The amount of motion activity within a week's routine of football players at grade level Place of work: UK FTVS Author: Michal Hojdar Field of study: Physical education and sport Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn Defence year: 2012 Generalization: The Bachelor work "The amount of motion activity within a week's routine of football players at grade level" focuses on acquisition of new knowledge concerning an extent, intensity and content of adolescents' motion activity who regularly apply themselves to an organized form of motion activity. A theoretical part comprises knowledge dealing with motion activity, its organized form and relation to adolescents' health development. The amount of motion activity was charted with the help of acceleration metres and written recording. In the closing part of the work there are verified hypotheses with the results of completing or not completing the health recommendation. Key words: an adolescent, an acceleration metre, an expenditure of energy, football, organized motion activity

The influence of organized physical activity on smoking and alcohol drinking among children aged 12 to 16 years
ŠIMOTOVÁ, Jaroslava
The thesis is focusing on the influence of organized physical activities on the smoking and alcohol drinking by the kids between 12 and 16 years of age. The basic characteristics of organized physical activities, smoking and alcohol drinking are described in the theoretical part of the thesis where emphasis is put on children and youth. The sociological, psychological and biological views are included in the basic characteristics. The research in the practical part of the thesis was done by a questionnaire. The total number of interviewee was 216. The amount of physical activities, smoking and alcohol drinking by kids between 12 and 16 years of age was charted, once the data collected was statistically evaluated and put into connection with membership in a sports club. The research clearly shows that children registered in a sports club are less likely to smoke or consume alcohol.
