Cooperative learning and the Results of Pupils

The aim of this theoretical-empirical thesis was to examine the principles of cooperative teaching while working on business letters within the lessons of Commercial-legal Correspondence at secondary school. The main objective of the research was to compare student's results - students' marking in two groups of students following the different types of educational methods: cooperation and non-cooperation. The bachelor thesis deals with the proposal of excursion for pupils of the Secondary Forestry School in Hranice and its use in the teaching of the subject forest protection within the framework of which the proposed excursion could be realized. The theoretical part defines and classifies excursion as one of the organizational forms of teaching, describes methods and principles used during excursion. It analyzes relevant information from literature, curriculum documents. The practical part contains a methodical design of the excursion into the protected landscape area. Incorporating the excursion into the teaching process provides of equal benefit to both pupils and teachers. It is an authentic and experienced learning in which development and shaping of the landscape can be observed directly in the exterior, which has a positive influence for the formation of their personality, makes up space for their creativity, allows the connection of theory with practice and supports to the improvement and permanent acquisition of new knowledge by creative teahing.

This diploma thesis ? Simple Experiments with Products of Nature as a Part of the Thematic Unit Variety of Nature ? deals with the integration of experiment into primary school teaching. The aim of the thesis is to record the range of experiments which are used in didactic materials and other literary sources where teachers can find various experiments. The thesis also focuses on selecting and verifying the set of experiments which might be relevant when teaching natural sciences at primary schools. These selected experiments have been provided with methodological notes and commentaries, which teachers may use as instructions on how to carry out each experiment. For selected experiments worksheets have been made, where pupils can enter their observations. This diploma thesis was solid within the scope of the projects GA JU no. 065/2010/S and 078/2013/S
