Proposal to improve the internal material flow in the selected manufacturing company
Slámka, Jiří ; Lanzendörfer, Tomáš (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis and proposals for improving the efficiency and automation of internal material flow in a manufacturing environment. The goal is to optimize the delivery of materials from the central warehouse to production lines through an effective and well-planned transportation system. The thesis concentrates on specific proposals, such as optimizing milkrun routes, implementing a database with quantitative material properties, and continuously monitoring system performance. The outcome is a set of recommendations and technologies aimed at enhancing material flow efficiency in the manufacturing environment through milkrun technology.
System for Service Workers’ Routes Planning
Mlčoch, Michal ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of service requests arising in smart cities and their planning into the routes for service workers. The thesis discusses the issue of the concept of smart cities, route optimization and analysis of services providing route optimization. This work aims to create a system for planning the routes of service workers for the smart city platform developed by Logimic. The main functionality is to enable route optimization through third-party services, and the emphasis is on being able to easily change the thirdparty service providing the optimization.
Optimization of Routes for Travel Agencies
Hal, Marek ; Kučera, Petr (advisor) ; Klára, Klára (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with an issue of tour-routes and an optimization of routes for travel agencies, namely the Rialto travel agency from the city Přerov. Two tours, offered by this travel agency, are optimized and three optimization methods are used - the nearest neighbour metho, the Vogel approximation Method and the savings method. The first part of this thesis describes the theoretical issue of topic - the legislation concerning the travel agencies, transportation logistics, the usage of operations research in transport logistics and travelling salesman problem issue and methods used to solve the travelling salesman problem. In the second part the Rialto travel agency is briefly described, then the tours are described and these tours are optimized. The last part contents the analysis of obtained results, the results are evaluated and suggestions considering the economic, temporal and legislative (rest and working hours of drivers) aspects are made.
Optimization of travel agency routes
Ötwösová, Karolina ; Kučera, Petr (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Petra (referee)
Summary This thesis deals with the optimization of chosen travel agency routes. The optimization is performed using several methods, e. g. nearest neighbor method, Vogel approximation method and spanning tree method. For each method a comparison is provided with the original route and map, which illustrates visited places and their distribution. The theoretical part describes the origin of tourism, the Czech republic in international tourism, legislation and logistics. In this section the methods of the analytical part and their advantages and disadvantages are described. In the final part of the work all the information obtained using the above methods are included in the final discussion and there the best method for chosen travel agency is featured.
Optimization of meter reading route
SVAČINA, František
