Legal Aspects of Fighting Cybercrime
Dostál, Otto ; Vlček,, Martin (referee) ; Šárek, Milan (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the topic of computer crime. Foremost, it demonstrates on an example of the operation of a medical image information processing system some selected aspects of this issue. It shows that it is always necessary to monitor the current state of the technical knowledge at the time, but also the need of addressing the issue within the corresponding legal limits. The thesis presents criminal law reality as a complex system. The links between different parts of the system are examined, and possible shortcomings are considered. The legal instruments and legal limits of the procedures that can be used against cybercrime are evaluated. The thesis focuses especially on the issue of obtaining evidence under the Czech Criminal Procedure Code. It presents a proposal on how to understand individual procedural legal institutes and for what purposes and how to use them. Consequently it suggests legal procedures for specific selected practical situations.
Optical Amplifiers
Mlejnek, Zbyněk ; Křepelka, Václav (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
Optical amplifiers has sparked a revolution in the telecommunications industry during th last ten years. Optical amplifiers are devices that amplifies an optical signal directly, without the need to first convert it to an electrical signal. Its ability to provide low-noise amplification over a range of wavelengths, fortuitously correspoding to the low-loss of silica fiber, has made optical networks economically attractive
Resilient fiber optic infrastructure
Spurný, Vladimír ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
Optical networks are often mistaken for being secure, but there are ways to eavesdrop on the signal in an optical fiber without the user noticing. Cryptography is used to protect data, but quantum computing may threaten current encryption methods in the future. Misuse of active and passive elements affect the security of the optical infrastructure. The monitoring ports of active devices and the physical properties of optical fibre s pose risks for data leakage and eavesdropping. This work focuses on information transmission in optical fibers, data leakage risk analysis, and testbed design for measuring data signal interference. And then verifies the functionality of the workstation on a high-speed coherent transmission system.

This bachelor work is concerned with motivation factors which have an influence on attractiveness of apprenticeship and in general a manual works and connect it with social, biological and economic factors. It place emphasis on the root of the trouble included social one, that resulted to an attractiveness decrease. It present overview of didactic methods with emphasis on their common characteristics and stability also. Another part of this work present a specific example of teaching result's dependency on teaching method's choice.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and describe local computer network in village Přílepy u Rakovníka and to present design of modification of current network to FTTH optical access network. At first, reader is introduced into basic concepts of computer networks, afterwards comes the pratical parts which is describing the FTHH optical acces network design itself. Theory part describes basic computer network concepts such as topologies, network models and network protocols. Afterwards the text describes basic characteristics of metal and optical Ethernet networks as well as their security. Afterwards the text describes FTTx optical access networks including their architecture. Reader is also introduced into methods of usage of optical fibers and methods of their installation. In the following practical part is described current state of the network in village Přílepy u Rakovníka and the design of network modification into FTTH network. All the concepts described through chapters 1-4 are assumed to be known to the reader and are crucial for understanding of the final network design which should be implemented in the future. The final network design includes comparation of topology and architecture of the network, its active components, central server etc. The main accent is not only on the technical facts but also on the comparison of investments and financial potencial of village.
