Matrix headphone amplifier for studio monitoring
Štěrba, Václav ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis describes the design of a matrix headphone amplifier for studio monitoring. The proposed amplifier is a purpose-built device to be used in studio sound recording for the mixing of multiple audio channels directed to the interpreters´or performers´ headsets. The device is basically composed of the following parts: An input section for the audio line, a mixing section which secures the setting of individual input levels for each output, an amplifier section allowing the setting of the output signal level for each output, and an output section enabling the connection of headphones. The equipment utilizes a connection to a multi-channel audio signal bus; this bus also provides for remote power supply to all the connected devices. The solution described in the thesis can be defined as alternative monitoring that facilitates quick and easy connection of a required number of monitoring points (in other cases, such monitoring is usually realized by means of individual small mixing consoles).
Universal and fully analog oscillator with transconductance amplifiers
Kus, Václav ; Zaplatílek, Karel (referee) ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a universal analog oscillator using transconductance amplifiers. For studying behaviour of chaotic dynamical systems can be used systems Class C. Suitable way for the purpose modeling dynamic phenomena arising in these systems is an electronic circuit that exhibits the same behavior as modeled system. After familiarization with the basic principles of synthesis of integrators systems, and studying the involvement of frequently used functional blocks were designed the concept of universal chaotic oscillator using transconductance amplifiers. The functionality of this circuit has been verified by PSpice simulation program. A typical feature of chaotic oscillator is extremely sensitivity to initial conditions. Each small change on the initial parameters can lead to major change in the shape of the attractor. The result of this thesis is a functional sample of a universal chaotic oscillator, which was verified by the dynamic behavior of the given differential equations.
Design of Differential Difference Amplifier in CMOS technology
Trojan, Vladimír ; Khateb, Fabian (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of differential difference amplifier (DDA) in technology TSMC 0,18 with maximum input and output common mode range, minimum power dissipation and area on chip. The thesis describes the basics of CMOS technology, commonly used structures of analog integrated circuits and operational amplifiers. Main focus of the thesis is design of circuit of DDA. Designing and simulations of DDA parameters were made in program Cadence Virtuoso and ADE Assembler simulation environment. Layout of DDA was designed in Layout XL environment.
Design and optimization of special low-level amplifier for measurement of air ions
Zdražil, Lukáš ; Bartušek, Karel (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with low-current measurement in order of picoamps up to a few tens of femtoamps. Such low currents measuring is necessary for determination of air ions concentration. Disturbances, which are otherwise negligible for ordinary measurements must be considered. For example, leakage currents and noise generated in measuring device circuit. The choice of a precise operation amplifier with low input bias current is as important as the selection of low noise passive components. The aim of the thesis is to design and implement a precise low-level amplifier for the purposes of air ions concentration measurements.
Comparative analysis of professional texts
Accurate wattmeter for measure power loss in ferrite core
Zdražil, Lukáš ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
Losses in ferromagnetic materials can be measured by a wattmeter. They can be divided into eddy current losses and hysteresis losses. Loss measurements are performed on closed samples. Wattmeters should be accurate and sensitive. There are electrodynamic wattmeters used which reach the maximum deflection at a power factor less than one. Another possible way how to measure losses is by the usage of special electronic circuits. The main part of these circuits is called an analog multiplier. The analog multiplier performs a product of two input signals, especially voltage or current. For these purposes a lot of integrated circuits have been developed. The biggest producers are companies such as Analog Devices and Texas Instruments.
