The beginnings of Czech education Malonty

The main theme of this work is to present and clarify the origins of education in Malonty. The introductory part consists of three subsections, which describes the location of this village, its history and present. The work contains the depiction and comparison of the course of education between postwar period and nowadays, which is divided into three parts: liberation - occupation, occupation - revolution, revolution - present. The second chapter contains a sub-chapter, which deals with education in the whole country after 1945 and the school history. Three annexes are attached to this work. The first annex contains the transcript of an interview with the witness V. Havelec and his brief biography. The second annex provides some photographs of the school building during the last years and the third annex includes the photocopies of the school correspondence.

Prestige of professions

In June survey CVVM focused on prestige of some professions in eyes of Czech public. All respondents were shown a list with 26 professions and they were instructed: „There are some professions on a list. Please choose a profession you respect the most and write there 99 points, then choose the one you respect the least a write there 1 point. Afterwards add to other profession points from 02 to 98 according to your opinion.

In September survey CVVM focused on prestige of professions. Respondents were given a list with 26 selected professions and they were asked to organize these professions in row starting with profession they respect the most till profession they respect as little as possible.

Banking system of The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia

The dissertation deals with economic situation of The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia with a view to banking system. The first chapter is dedicated to the brief characteristic of the era of the Second Czechoslovak Republic to explain the situation when Germany affects progress on our territory. The second chapter is concentrated to succeeding era -- occupying of Czech countries, origin of The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and integration to big German economy system. The next chapter is heart of the dissertation. It is about organisation of bank system in The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and it's detention to German economy, about activities of central bank and commercial banks and monetary policy, about Germany interest in Czech bank's shares in industrial companies and in central bank's gold reserve and about origin of customs union. The part of dissertation is also dedicated to exile government in London and it's task in preparations of monetary system reform.

Exploatace českých zemí v období protektorátu

Diplomová práce Exploatace českých zemí v období protektorátu pojednává o důsledcích šesti let nacistické nadvlády na naše hospodářství. Časově začíná na konci září 1938 konferencí v Mnichově, kde velmoci rozhodly o tom, že Československo musí vydat pohraničí. Následovaly vnitropolitické změny k totalitárnímu režimu spolu s hospodářskými těžkostmi. Tuto krátkou etapu našich dějin vystřídala šestiletá okupace. Za tu dobu se Německo snažilo maximálně využít možností exploatace hospodářského potenciálu naší vlasti pro svoji válečnou expanzi do Evropy, Asie a Afriky. K dosažení svého cíle u nás zavedli příkazové hospodářství. Zaměstnavatelé i zaměstnanci ztratili schopnost rozhodování, dělaly to za ně úřady. Za okupace došlo k obrovským majetkovým přesunům ve prospěch německých koncernů a velkobank. Týkalo se to hlavně židovského, ale v menší míře i českého kapitálu. Nacisté naše hospodářství během své nadvlády hodně poškodily a trvalo nějakou dobu než se podařilo exploatovanou českou ekonomiku znovu obnovit. Podle mého názoru cíle práce shrnout škody způsobené okupací se podařilo dosáhnout.
