The steel roof structure of a tennis hall
Šašinka, Jakub ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and assessment of steel structure of the roofing of the sports hall. The supporting structure of hall is 20.00 meters span, 39.80 m length and 11.99 m height. Main construction material is steel, grade S235. There were done 3 possible variants of the hall, from which one of them was calculated in detail. It is prepared by static analysis of the main load-bearing parts of the structure, including joints and details. The supporting structure of hall consists in the transverse direction from the curved spatial lattice structure made of steel circular tubes.
Steel structure of a military museum
Šašinka, Jakub ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis describes the design and assessment of steel structure of the roofing of the military museum in Králíky. The supporting structure of hall is 40.00 meters span. The total layout are 55.93 x 72.04 m, building height 11.43 m, 16.11 m pylon height. Main construction material is steel, grade S355, secondary constructions are made from steel grade S235, rods are made from steel grade S460. I did optimization of steel structure and chose the best option. For this option I made detailed structural analysis. It is prepared by static analysis of the main load-bearing parts of the structure, including joints and details. The supporting structure of hall consists in the transverse direction from the curved spatial lattice structure made of steel circular tubes which hang on rods on a sloped pylon. Part of the report is open-air roofing.
Home over water
Kosová, Karolína ; Kučera, Radim (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor thesis is a project of a new detached house with painting atelier in Martinice u Onšova. The designed house will be partly built partly on plot no. 140/2, the main part of the building is designed above the surface of the large pond (plot no. 145) Detached house for a four-member family has two overground floors. Parking is solved by a detached garage for two cars. Foundations are made up of reinforced concrete large diameter drilled pile and frame structure of strip foundation which supports loadbearing wall. Vertical loadbearing structures are designed of clay blocks. The vertical peripheral structures are provided with an insulation system with ventilated space. Floor-slab is designed of reinforced concrete. A two-layer barrel roof is a dominant of the building. A roof between detached house and atelier is designed as a walkable flat roof.
Truss arch structure for multi-purpose hall
Chalupa, Vojtěch ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Röder, Václav (advisor)
The main objective of this bachelor’s thesis is a design of a multipurpose mobile arc hall. The arc span is 25 m. Total hall lenght is 30 m. The load-carrying construction system consists of a transversal truss beams composed of tube profiles. The variant of transversal truss beams as Vierendeel beams is further designed in this thesis. Transversal beams are supported by joint bearings. The calculation was done in the Scia Engineer 2011 software.
Steel load-bearing structure of a sport hall
Cejpek, Martin ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The main target is to design and assess the steel structure of a tennis hall. The steel structure is rectangular shaped, single-nave, with a 24 m span and 48 m length (without hanging gable walls). An analysis of two solutions of the supporting structure was performed. The first variant is a pin-supported truss girder connected to columns fixed in the transverse direction and an alternative is a frame construction. Both variants were compared and the amount of steel was found. The selected option was developed in greater detail.
Steel construction of an exhibition pavilion
Wawreczka, Karel ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The aim of diploma thesis is to design steel roof structure of minimum dimensions 45 m x 50 m and minimum height 12 m. The plan of the building design has dimensions of 52,14 m x 70, 00 m and height is 18,68 m. The roofing was design as 3D truss girders with two lower chords and one upper chord. The shape of 3D truss girder consists of three circular arcs of radius 69,88m, 12,43 m and 33,45 m. Between main girders is 3D bracing. The structure is pin-supported.
