Renewal of hermetic pipe penetrations
Kratochvíl, Zdeněk ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The topic of this work is the renewal of hermetic pipe penetrations within the primary loop of a nuclear power station. A description of the Dukovany nuclear power plant is included at the beginning, ranging from basic description to details of the renewed component and the reasoning for its replacement. Following is a description of the technologies, which are applied in order to restore the hermetic pipes, the choice of the placement of the heterogeneous weld and the compilation of a workflow for the renewal in the environment of the primary loop while maintaining the quality standards and the strict safety conditions. The conclusion includes a calculation of the expenses tied with the chosen variant the reasoning behind the renewal regarding the length of the outage.
Ecological problems energetics CR
Šilar, Martin ; Bok, Jaromír (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This project presents the current status of power resources and supply in the Czech Republic and examines its different connections with ecology. The existing situation in energetics is described in the first chapter of the thesis. This chapter contains general information as well as an analysis of the progress to date related to the structure of installed power and to the amount of electricity generation and their consumption. The description of the common influence of energetics on the environment is provided in the following chapter, which also introduces the next step, namely a short survey of the characteristics of the currently used energy resources and their direct relationship to the monitored ecological problems. The practical part of the project is based on the calculation of emission in the fifteen biggest thermal power station in the Czech Republic. The calculated amounts of emission are compared with the related features of nuclear waste. The last chapter contains information about the EU legislation concerning the reduction of carbon dioxide. In this respect, there are presented also the measures planned to facilitate the reduction of carbon dioxide in Czech Republic.
Evaluation of introduction protection measures - evacuation at crash of nuclear power station Fukushima
SLÁMA, Filip
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the protective measures, notably the evacuation of the population, its development and progress. To achieve the goal of bachelor's work was determined by the research question: Was the safeguard measures and the subsequent procedure for the evacuation of persons from the evacuation zones sufficient? The theoretical part is focused on the particular issue of nuclear power plants, radiation protection and evacuation. The situation described here, which took place directly on the Fukushima daiichi nuclear power plant Daiichi, from the strike of the earthquake and tsunami, after the gradation events in the individual reactors. The research part is about the development of the evacuation in the evacuation zones and the nuclear power plant. Protective measures are described here, and even the consequences and the situation after the crash to the present. The methodology of this work was the gathering of available information from official foreign sources, legislative documents, but also of the publications of the experts. Processing of the available information and the evaluation of the consequences of the evacuation has brought unpleasant findings. The loss of life, which can make a person look a certain way to reflect over the selection of persons suitable to evacuate. In this work were identified and discussed technical shortcomings of the power plant, the information misconduct in communication of the population and in the last row and misconduct of the human factor. The thesis can be used in the general issue of nuclear power plants and evacuation for study purposes or as an information source in the education, energy or public administration.

Development of public opinion on nuclear energy in the Czech Republic after 1985
Želízko, Jaroslav ; Koudelková, Petra (advisor) ; Rosenfeldová, Jana (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with public opinion on nuclear energy in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical knowledge that is related to the given issue. It focuses on the concepts of public relations, nuclear power station, communication with the public. The second part is divided into three sub-units. The first part examines the public opinion on nuclear energy in our country through a questionnaire survey. The second part is an interview with a public relations experts. Subsequently, the data thus collected is compiled, compared and discussed including recommendations.
Natural hazards in the locality of the Jaslovské Bohunice nuclear power station
Halžová, Daniela ; Kalvoda, Jan (advisor) ; Vilímek, Vít (referee)
This work deals with natural hazard in the area of nuclear power plant Jaslovské Bohunice. Natural hazards research is essential in the areas of facilities, where construction and operation safety is highest priority. Nuclear power plants are this type od facilities. In order to increase or maintain security in the areas of nuclear power plants is an important task to monitor the current geodynamics processes. Geomorphical criteria are one of the essential basis to ensure safety of nuclear facilities. The aim of this work is to describe the active geomorphological processes in the location of the Jaslovské Bohunice nuclear power plant in the form of research literature, associate these geomorphological processes with natural hazards in this area and describe relationship between them. Keywords: natural hazards, nuclear power station, Jaslovské Bohunice

Use of low-potential waste heat production JE Temelín for agricultural production.
KUNEŠ, Radim
The goal of the diploma thesis was to elaborate applicable solutions for the use of low-potential waste heat from the Nuclear Power Plant Temelín for agricultural production. A greenhouse of the 1 hectare size has been proposed as a model project for tomatoes production. First, in diploma thesis discussed universally questions related with building greenhouse, such is safety issues servis Nuclear Power Plant, the suitability of use different technologies, property law, suitability of the locality construction and impact on the environment... Then was detailed processed version for heating-up greenhouse of the 1 hectare, including solution key problem . Part of this diploma thesis is economic balance and proposal for the future practical use.
