Návrh a vyhodnocení podnikatelské strategie pro produkci slepičích vajec
HAUSER, Jan
The goal of the work was to find a demonstrable effect on cost savings for the monitored technologies and to compare the quality of eggs from individual types of breeding. The partial goal of the thesis was to find a suitable technology for the chosen business plan, present it and evaluate it financially. In order to prove the effect on cost savings, three companies were approached and provided information about their breeding hens. From the obtained information, the occupancy of the halls, the average number of eggs laid per hen, the number of hens per employee and the consumption of feed mixture were determined. The evaluation of egg quality was based on twelve samples commonly available in stores. Among the samples were eggs from cage, indoor, free-range and organic farming. Price and weight, ratio of major components, shape index, yolk index, albumen index, Haugh units and yolk color were evaluated. In the last part, four manufacturers of mobile chicken coops with a capacity of 50 to 1,040 hens were presented. A SWOT analysis, Porter's five forces model and a comparison of costs and benefits were carried out. At the end there is an evaluation for practice. The results of the impact on cost savings did not point directly to a specific technology. It was found that the occupancy of the hall and the intensity of human labor have a direct effect on cost savings. It was also found that as the number of hens raised increases, the cost per hen decreases. The evaluation of egg quality also did not point directly to one technology. Eggs are better or worse in various tests. However, a lower quality of eggs produced in organic farming can be observed here, which is influenced by the time of the test. The financial analysis of the future business plan showed its feasibility. She also pointed out several recommendations that should be considered before the actual implementation of the project.
Development of quality indicators of hens eggs from different types of breeding over time
ŠTĚPÁN, Stanislav
This thesis dealt with the determination of quality indicators of hen eggs from diffe-rent types of breeding - free range (domestic), litter house and enriched cage bree-ding, their comparison with each other and with our own results from 2021. 10 samples from each breeding were evaluated. There was no significant difference (p>0.05) between the eggs from each type of rearing in terms of volume, shape index, air bubble height, solid white index, Haugh units and yolk index. The shell was intact in all samples. There were differences in egg weight (p<0.001) and shell thickness (p<0.05). When compared with the 2021 results, the largest differences were in the litter-reared eggs, which were different in all parameters except shape index. For free-range (home-reared) eggs, there were differences in weight, shell thickness (p<0.001) and egg shape index (p<0.05). Eggs from enriched cage rearing differed in weight (p<0.001) and yolk index (p<0.01).
Zařazení barevné pšenice "AF ZORA" s vysokým obsahem antokyanů na parametry užitkovosti nosnic na konci snáškového cyklu
Schořová, Michaela
The hypothesis of the experiment was to determine the effect of anthocyanins from the black AF Zora wheat variety on the reproductive parameters of weaned hens (>72 weeks of age). 120 laying hens of the breed Rhode Island White were used for the experiment and were divided into two groups - control and experimental in six repetitions. The experimental group was fed with a feed mixture containing 60% AF Zora black wheat and the control group 60% ordinary wheat of the Vanessa red variety. The experiment lasted 18 weeks, dur-ing which feed consumption, egg laying, egg quality, bone strength, antioxidant activity and phytoestrogen activity were monitored. The positive effect of anthocyanins was evident on egg-laying (P<0.05) in the experimental group, but at the same time, the weight of one egg in this group was about 1 g less and the quality of the shell deteriorated. Furthermore, the eggs of the experimental group had higher haugh units (P<0.01). The effect of anthocyanins on the antioxidant activity determined using the FRAP method was not confirmed. Phytoes-trogenic activity determined by mRNA expression of vitellogenin (VTG 1 and VTG 2) was not confirmed.

Jandová, Eliška
This thesis deals with determination of the magnesium and iron retention in organism. In experiment there were used laying hen of carrier type of hybrids Bovans Brown from the age of fourteen months. Chicken were fed ad libitum with feed mixture with the indicator of chromium oxide the entire duration of the whole experiment. From the beginning of the clutch eggs were removed to specify the strenght of eggshells. The balance digestibility of magnesium was found out in three-day periods. Feed consumption was found out by indi-cator method. An average balance digestibility of magnesium in feed mixture was 55, 1 %. Maximum, about 58%, was reached between 40 – 60 days after laying of the first egg. The course of retention of magnesium from 43rd day before laying of the first egg to 73rd day after laying of the first egg is possible to express by polynomial second degree equation Y= -0,0009x2 + 0,1316x + 54,12; R2 = 0,6414. Daily retention of magnesium that was 127 mg before beginning of the clutch was increased with proceeding clutch and egg weight. During the clutch there were retained 179 – 196 mg of magnesium in the layer´s body. Average content of magnesium in eggshells was 3,771 ± 0,2131 g/kg. For the whole reten-tion period average feed consumption was 120,13 g. In evaluation of quality of eggs from the age of 17. to 29. weeks all values were identical with a technological manual of given hybrid.

Minerální výživa u nosnic
Bielanová, Milena
Abstract The work summarizes the basic knowledge of physiological digestion and egg production and mineral nutrition of laying hens. It deals about need of minerals for the proper development of the poultry skeleton and for the production of quality eggs with a minimum number of non-quality eggs with a broken shell, or without the shell. Part is also devoted to disorders of the organism in case of improper supply of mineral substances. The last chapter deals with the analysis and assessment of 10 mixtures for pull-ets from the 17th week of age to 2 % of laying and 10 mixtures for laying hens up to 45 weeks of age. Of the tested mixtures, comparing the calcium and phosphorus content with the standard of nutrients need for the category, only one feed mixture was satisfactory for pullets from the 17th week of age, although had an 8 % lower nitrogen compounds content, and no one mixture from all the mixtures for layers to 45 week of laying corresponded to the nutrients need. The findings show that com-pound feed manufacturers should monitor the composition of the mixtures and the quality of the components more closely and check the mixed mixtures at the outlet before the sale to avoid unnecessary litigation between compound feed producers and egg producers.
Zkrmování pšenice s vyšším obsahem anthokyanů u nosnic v závěru snášky
Trněná, Iva
The aim of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the influence of feeding of wheat with higher content of anthocyanins in laying hens at the end of the laying cycle compared to feeding common wheat without anthocyanins. The measured parameters included hen weight, feed consumption, laying, weight and quality of eggs and biochemical profile of hen's blood. 30 hens of the Bowans Brown hybrid combination were used in the experiment at 69 weeks of age. Layers were divided into two groups of 15 pieces. The first group was control, fed with a common wheat variety Bohemia with low anthocyanins and the second group was experimental - fed with RU 687-12 wheat colored wheat with high anthocyanin content. In the experiment, the egg laying, feed consumption, animal weight, and egg quality were evaluated in laying hens. At the end of the experiment, blood was taken for biochemical examination. The results of both groups were compared between each other. The results of the statistical assessment show that the feeding of wheat RU 687-12 has significantly influenced the feed and feed consumption, which was higher than in the experimental group. However, the hen eggs of the experimental group had a significantly lower weight. However, the total egg production was significantly higher in the experimental group (P = 0.04). Egg quality was found to be significantly higher in yolk and a higher weight of yolk, but also a lower proportion of white egg in the experimental group. Biochemical analysis of blood showed a higher blood albumin concentration in the blood plasma of the experimental group. The other monitored parameters did not differ significantly. Based on the results of the experiment, we can state that the feeding of wheat with a higher proportion of anthocyanins had a positive effect on the performance of the laying hens, expressed by the number of eggs, the production of egg mass and the higher proportion of yolk.
Zařazení pšenice s purpurovým perikarpem do krmné směsi nosnic v první fázi snášky
Straňáková, Lucie
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the inclusion of wheat with purple pericarp into feed mixture of laying hens in the first phase of the laying period to 38. weeks of age. It was examined whether wheat with a higher content of anthocyanins positively or negatively affects the performance parameters of laying hens and quality of eggs. In the research we used a total of 30 laying hens of hybrid combination Isa Brown at the beginning of the laying cycle from 19. weeks of age. Laying hens were divided into two groups. The feed mixture of laying hens of the experimental group included wheat with purple pericarp RU 687-12 with a higher content of anthocyanins. For the feeding of the control group was used the feed mixture, which contained the ordinary wheat variety Bohemia with a low content of anthocyanins. In the framework of the experiment was monitored egg-laying, food consumption and was assessed the quality of the eggs. The obtained data were statistically evaluated and the results of the experiment show that the control group evinced significantly (P<0,05) higher egg laying. Moreover, there was also statistically proven (P<0,05) higher feed consumption per hen and day. Research of the qualitative analysis of the eggs shows that control group had statistically conclusive (P<0,05) higher weight of eggs. The lenght of the egg was (P<0,05) in the control group. All other monitored parameters were statistically inconclusive. The results of the conducted experiment show that wheat RU 687-12 with a higher content of anthocyanins is not recommended to use in compound feed for laying hens at the beginning of the laying cycle, as it negatively affects their utility property and the eggs quality.
