Secondly, the thesis proposes that the Government is also in a complementary relationship with the NGOs as it finances their activities through the European Refugee Fund. Thirdly, it identifies the Greek government and the Greek NGOs as being adversaries in the field of policy formation and implementation.
Do the environmental organizations and scientists affect public opinion on an environmental issue?
SUCHOPÁR, Petr
People tend to build their own opinion according to the reputation of the speaker, presenting a given problem. The aim of this thesis was to find out if people pose the same attitude towards recultivation of an abandoned gravel pit, when being referred by: a) a scientist from the Academy of Science; b) a worker from an environmental organization. Based on the analyzed data, it can be concluded that the difference is significant and people tend to choose the same attitude as a scientist and on the other hand, tend to choose the opposite then environmentalist.
