Employee Education in the Process of Adaptation

5 ABSTRACT The presented thesis, which is complemented with a case study, deals with education of employees in the process of adaptation. Attention is paid to the theoretical anchoring of this issue by specialised literature. On the theoretical level, the thesis outlines adaptation and adaptation process, employee training as well as education of employees who are in the adaptation process. This theme is deliberately shown in connections and actual context through introduction of the system of education of employees in the adaptation process as it is set in a selected company. It discusses the way of identification of educational needs, and the planning, implementation as well as subsequent evaluation of the education. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of education of employees in the process of adaptation, and to find out within empirical research how the system of education of employees in adaptation process is set in a specific selected company. adaptation process of nurses working in intensive care unit

The aim of this thesis is to study the adaptation process in the intensive care units. The theoretical section analysed the adaptation process of nurses with particular focus on methodical instructions, legislation and other specific aspects of the adaptation process, including necessary education for the ICU nurses. The aim of the practical section was to examine, whether the adaptation processes are done properly and are long enough. We focused not only on the point of view of the management, but also on the feedback from the new employees. A survey was done among the employees of accredited and non-accredited healthcare facilities. By the evaluation of our data, we have managed to accept or deny various hypotheses that were included in our work. Our survey has shown that both executive nurses and new employees think the adaptation process usually proceeds correctly and thoroughly and they do not want to make any changes. Our data have also been used to compare adaptation processes of accredited and non-accredited healthcare facilities. Based on the data from our survey, we have been able to determine, that the adaptation process is significantly better at facilities which are accredited. On the contrary, the nurses working in non-accredited facilities are less satisfied and would welcome changes...
Adaptation of Workers in Organizations

The subject of submitted bachelor thesis is an area of workers adaptation within the organization. The main objective of this thesis is to point out the importance of adaptation of workers in organizations for workers and for the organization. This thesis defines the term adaptation and describes it from several points of view. It also deals with factors which affect the adaptation of workers. Further it discusses notions work adaptation and social adaptation, their exact definitions and partitions. This thesis describes the adaptation process of new employees, it shows some possibilities of its managing and monitoring. It also puts the stress on the meaning and the roles of people involved in the adaptation of workers. It doesn't even miss out the potential consequences of uncontrolled adaptation and possible risks and problems, which can result from that, not only for the new employee, but for organization as well.
Adaptation of new Employees in a selected Organization as an Instrument to Reduce Fluctuations

The diploma thesis is concentrated on connections between adaptation and staff tur-nover in particular organization. Especially it is about the finding whether the increased given notices in organization are based on adaptation or it is caused by other reasons. In the analysed company the qustionnaire was spred among the current workers with the intent to find out, whether the staff turnover of technical workers is influenced in the first place by bad adaptation or not. The survey results confirmed that there exist other reasons above all. The adaptation can be perceived as a suitable instrument for fluctuation decrease but under condition the adaptation is prepared properly.

This thesis deals with the management of human resources in a selected company, with a special focus given to the development and management of the adaptation process of new employees. The main of the diploma thesis is to considerate the effectiveness of the adaptation process in the selected company. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a pratical part. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of the adaptation process and includes possible changes related to the process. The practical part introduces the selected company and its particular adaptation process. The process is further analyzed. Using a questionnaire survey, the emphasis is given to the opinions of new employees upon the adaptation process. As a conclusion, several improvement concepts of the adaptation process, based on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey, are suggested.

Bachelor Thesis focuses on adaptation of new employess at L'Oréal Česká republika s.r.o. The aim is to analyse adaptation process, evaluate it and propose measures that would lead to improvements. Using these proposals, the company could adjust its adaptation process and thus contribute to performance improvement, fluctuation stabilisation or higher employees satisfaction. Questionnaire has been used for this analysis.
