Far-right Subculture in the Free State of Saxony

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá subkulturou krajní pravice ve Svobodném státě - pojednáno v multidisciplinárním kontextu, práce vysvětluje důvod také využívá politologické roviny, vymezuje pojem pravicového extremismu a ukazuje jeho rávní úrovni je rozvedena reakce státu ve formě legislativních a represivních opatření. V kontextu občanského vzdělávání jsou prezentovány instituce a aktéři, kteří v Sasku na tomto poli působí s cílem eliminovat pravicový extremismus ve společnosti. Text rovněž definuje, jak velké nebezpečí subkultura ve společnosti představuje. Vláda se snaží s pravicovým extremismem vypořádat, i když se žádná politická strana nedostává přímo do parlamentu. Jde především o hrozbu společenskou spočívající v páchání trestné činnosti, schopnosti mobilizace a tvoření chybných ideologických přesvědčení. Stát chce primárně svoje občany chránit před kriminální činností, vzdělávat je a rozvíjet demokratické uvědomění, přičemž systém občanského vzdělávání Spolkové republiky Německo je celosvětově považován za vzor, jelikož se obor po druhé světové válce stal díky specifickému vnímání pravicového extremismu součástí německé identity

1 Rightlist extremism and radicalism in the Czech Republic constitutional law aspects Keywords Rightlist extremism, radicalism, constitutional law, human dignity, democracy, neonazists Abstract The subject of this thesis is description of activities of selected Czechoslovak and Czech political parties and movements with elements of right-wing extremism since the establishment of Czechoslovakia until 1945 and from 1989 to the present. More over I analyze the possibility of intrusion of democratic stability by activities of these subjects and examine legal instruments held by the society, to defend democracy. Reading my work, the reader should have complete view on this issue and clear comparison of right-wing extremism and its consequences in the past and present. Source of my work is the constitutional order of the Czech Republic, in particular the Czech Constitution and the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, laws and jurisprudence. A valuable source was also historical and legal literature, manuals and guidelines of the public administration. Describing of some right-wing extremist entities, I have used their own publishing activities, primarily Internet resources. Causes and consequences of extremism in Czech republic

Extremism is an underestimated threat of democratic system in these days. The majority of people are not aware of ideas of separate extremists groups and they can not evaluate possible menace. The statistics dealing with extremism made by Police of the Czech Republic show gradual but continuous growth of members of extremists groups. It is a question, which prediction for the progress of extremism will be correct and whether the extremism in the Czech Republic will stay in his latent form. The big difficulty of this problem is a definition of extremism. This term is not involved in the penalty law, because it is a term of politics science. Extremism is generally known as a terrorism or more precisely as an Islamic terrorism. The issue of this bachelor thesis is extremism in his basic form. So the main aim is to notify the situation of extremism in the Czech Republic, especially in Trhové Sviny, the basic illegal activities of extremist groups, delinquent behaviour and possible threats of extremism for society. Moreover it describes attitudes of the citizens of Trhové Sviny, their knowledge in this sphere and it points out a possible prevention of aggression. In the practical part of this bachelor thesis I have found out that the majority of asked people are afraid of extremism, in spite of the fact that they don{\crq}t notice any extremists groups or their activities in their neighbourhood. It is interesting, that the right-form extremism is considered as a more dangerous form. The solution of the extremism is very complicated and it needs complex and systematic changes. One step for improving the situation could be greater preventive activities in basic schools. Next step could be the creation of project, which would specialize on free-time activities of children and adults and it could be also used as a control element of potential extremists.
