Analysis and comparison of user interface of the websites of special libraries at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague and proposals for its innovation

The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis and assessment of the existing user interface of the departmental libraries of Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. The theoretical part generally characterizes the discipline of Human Computer Interaction. Furthermore, it characterizes concepts such as user interface, web usability and web accessibility and information architecture. Besides, it introduces the organisation, functions and services of the Central Library of the Faculty of Arts, including departmental libraries. The practical part explores and assesses current condition of the websites of the departmental libraries. The aim of this research is to determine users' satisfaction based on their experience with these library websites. Moreover, the research monitors the users' idea of an ideal website. A further concern is the usability, accessibility, content, design and information architecture of the websites researched. In accordance with the results of the research, a schema of a new human interface for the departmental libraries is designed.

Driving-School Quality Improvement Using User Experience Sharing

This thesis analyzes the User Experience in design and development of new Web applications. Thesis describes the proper use of the UX methods and also deals with the possibility of using gamification in the design of new services. The work also contains analysis of the market of driving-schools in the Czech Republic and defines its main problems. Like a solution to these problems, the work includes the design and implementation of a new web application for sharing experiences among students.

Presentation of manufacturing concern on internet

This thesis covers the creation process of presentation of manufacturing concern with specific realisation in internet sites. Based on theoretical resources from area of creation of internet sites focused on presentation, the structure of the sites is designed as well as the individual modules of the chosen system are analyzed. Subsequently tools for realisation from the area of internet presentation systems are chosen and used to implement the system. Enclosure of this thesis covers evaluation of resulting internet presentation.

This site will collect information about historical women and links to sources related to them, and serve as a "first-step" resource for educators, creators, and other people interested in the topic. The prototype's main goal is to present the intended structure, useability, and design of the final website, and serve as a basis for building the final working version.

The theme of this bachelor's thesis is to provide the overview of the website design process. The main object is to create and apply methodology of this process. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is about introducing SEO focused mainly on the website design. The second part is devoted to creation of the methodology and in the third part the methodolgy is applied to the real project. The thesis is devoted mainly for project managers and the webmasters. The website design still does not have any standardized or comprehensive procedure so they can find here the insight into the issue.

The importance of information still grows at the present time of information age. Besides, the internet is bottomless source of information and also infinite communication channel it is powerful tool to make a profit too. Many people appreciate its potential and many of them even established a business on internet or expanded their services to this dimension. The result was rapid growth of competition in e-commerce area. Companies try to catch their customers all possible ways. That's why there is tendency in webdesign focusing on user's needs and comfort. This work deals one of the main parts of webdesign. Namely layout and component position on the website. Work contains theoretical part -- characteristic of layout and practical part -- analyses layout of e-shops in Czech Republic.
