Audio signal transmission over a standard Ethernet network
Rubínek, Tomáš ; Jaššo, Kamil (referee) ; Bayer, Robert (advisor)
The work describes digital audio networks for audio signal transmission. Describes the various types of digital networks and describes them. It deals in more detail with digital networks for audio signal transmission over a standard Ethernet network and compares their possibilities and uses. It compares several types of digital networks for audio signal transmission over a standard Ethernet network: Dante, AVB, Ravenna and AES67. It also compares these networks in terms of scalability and other possible uses. The practical part of the thesis is then focused on the configuration and settings of devices in the Dante network. There are stated examples for usage of the Dante network in model situations including examples of the concrete Dante devices connected to the network. In the last part of the thesis is described the realization of Dante network in the recording and postproduction room.

Design and simulation of hierarchical nets
Škvařil, Jan ; Keznikl, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Ježek, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to implement an application for creating hierarchical nets and their simulation. The nets are composed of components interconnected by oriented edges. Every net has an associated schema which defines the appearance, behavior and way of connection of schema components. The application facilitates definition of new schemas. The simulation consists of discrete steps. During every step the behavioral programs of the activated components that are defined in the schema are processed. Simulation can be recorded and then replayed. The capabilities of the application are demonstrated on the included schemas and networks.
