Šulová, G. Talent management in company praxis. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2018. The diploma thesis focuses on talent management and its importance for talents and business practice. The way of implementation and the benefits of TM were investigated in 3 branches of multinational organization. Literary research is focused on defining basic concepts, philosophy and the whole process of talent management. The thesis also examines the current state of talent management, especially individual activities were described and evaluated. The survey also included a questionnaire survey, the main task of which was to determine the level of competence development, careers, and answers research questions. The entire talent management program was reviewed by Kirkpatrick's four-level model. Everything was completed by structured interviews with HR/TM executives of the branches investigated. Based on the outcomes, proposals have been made to im-prove the effectiveness of both individual programs and the program itself.

This thesis focus on the theoretical aspects of family enterprising and running a family business in the Czech Republic. The first part deals with the history of family enterprising and the importance of family businesses in the economy and society. This part also describes the specificity of family firms, advantages and diadvantages and common problems in family-owned business. The theoretical part of the thesis also analyse the stability of the family firms in recession and the challenges of a family business in Czech Republic. The second part of the thesis contains four czech family firms' case studies.

The thesis deals with the phenomenon of "Family business". The first part involves theory aimed at the global importance of family businesses, their specifics, definition, strong and weak sides and potential difficulties. The process of succession and its strategy is described in more detailed way enabling future success of family businesses. The second part shows analyses of Czech family companies. There is a comparison with German family companies which might serve for some improvement of the Czech family entrepreneurs. At the end of this thesis, there are three case studies of three Czech family companies. On the basis of their analysis is provided a recommendation of potential solutions of their problematic areas.

The theoretical-methodological part of the thesis describes family enterprising. It also deals with the definition of family enterprises, focuses on problems that these firms have to face and it also outlines a history of family enterprising. Finally, the thesis evaluates prospects of family enterprising in the Czech Republic. In its practical part, the thesis introduces SACH Company, makes an analysis of its external environment and formulates the concept of a further development of this enterprise. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes problems of this firm and outlines a possible strategy for the enterprise into the future.
