Proposal for Changes in the Company Information System
Keclík, David ; Neuwirth, Bernard (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to propose for changes in the company information system. Document content is focuse on analyse, implementation and using data warehouse and usage advance to optimaze methods for achievement added value to users. The first part of this thesis is focused on choice of suitable concept of data warehouse, implementation and possible problems. In the second part, I compare assets of this system with costs for development and administration.
OLAP Data Storage Methods
Dittrich, Petr ; Kroulík, Jan (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor work is the OLAP core implementation for the data storage space. All theoretical facts about the data storage space are discussed at the start. The form of metadata elements storage and the OLAP cubes creating are described in the following part. And finally, in the last chapter, it is precisely shown how to create a cube in this system.
Data Cube Visualization
Dittrich, Petr ; Kupčík, Jan (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
The topic of the master's thesis is a concept and implementation of the prototype application TOPZ demostrating the data warehouse. All theoretical facts about the data storage space are discussed at first. It is also specified the areas of possible improvements of the data warehouse. The specification of requirements and concept of the demonstration application are described in the following part. Testing the performace of the data warehouse is discussed in last chapter.
Knowledge Discovery over Data Warehouses
Pumprla, Ondřej ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Stryka, Lukáš (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with the principles of the data mining process, especially with the mining  of association rules. The theoretical apparatus of general description and principles of the data warehouse creation is set. On the basis of this theoretical knowledge, the application for the association rules mining is implemented. The application requires the data in the transactional form or the multidimensional data organized in the Star schema. The implemented algorithms for finding  of the frequent patterns are Apriori and FP-tree. The system allows the variant setting of parameters for mining process. Also, the validation tests and efficiency proofs were accomplished. From the point of view of the association rules searching support, the resultant application is more applicable and robust than the existing compared systems SAS Miner and Oracle Data Miner.
Možnosti analytických nástrojů v prostředí MS SQL Serveru
Mazáčová, Markéta
The thesis compares the development time and performance of two types of Microsoft analytical models created in Visual Studio that are deployed on the local analytics servers and the Azure cloud server. Theoretical research will be summarizing business intelligence and data warehouses components, Microsoft tools for business intelligence realization and features using in-memory database technologies. The practical part introduces the AdventureWorks demonstration database, describes the implementation of both analytical models and compares both models with respect to the time-consuming development, performance and suitability of deployment.

Praktická část seznamuje s konkrétní architekturou obou přístupů a podává ucelené porovnání zmíněných metodologických přístupů.
