Application of Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods in Selection of Knowledge Management Software

This master thesis deals with the evaluation and selection of a suitable software to support knowledge management in a selected company using methods of multicriteria evaluation of variants. The first part, in theory, explains the concepts of knowledge, managerial decision-making and after that all the methods that are used during the processing of this work. The second part deals with the introduction of the company and the analysis of the current situation in the software market to support knowledge management. The master thesis focuses on the application of selected methods of multicriteria variants, which serve as a tool to support decision-making in the selection of the most suitable software for knowledge management in the selected company.
Study of Green Logistics Trends

The master theses focuses on the selection of a suitable drive for the company's internal transport vehicles focusing on new trends in green logistics. The theoretical part characterizes the concepts of logistics, supply chain and its components, legislative background and methods of multicriteria decision-making. The practical part describes the compared drives, defines the research area and describes the compared criteria. In the application part, methods of multicriteria decision-making are applied, namely the weighted sum method and the TOPSIS method. Based on the evaluation of the compared variants, a future change of the company's internal transport fleet was proposed.

Quantitative analysis of the project of civic amenities

This Thesis is focused on analysis of real project in Studený village. In introductory chapter there is detailed analysis and evaluation of the implemented project of multipurpose playground, using project management tools. Current situation of Studený village is ilustrated by using SWOT analysis. On the real project of the multipurpose playground there are also explaind strog and week parts of future using of the playground and it draws attention on its threats and opportunities. In theoretical part there are described methods of multicriterial decision making, expert team selection models, theory of social selection and project managment methods. In the following chapter there is shown practical utilization, on the real projetct of multipurpose playground in Studený, according to TOPSIS, AHP and ORESTE methods. Attention is drawn on possible problems with social selection using Dodgsons examples and there are suggested countermeasures with help of Condorcets funcion and SPAN method. The Thesis shows the necessity of these methods and their application on a real project.
Survey and Assessment of Subject Product - Children's Birthday Parties

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to review the subject of the services - complex mediation of birthday parties for children in the location of Prague 5. The interest od the service of potential customers is evaluated due through marketing research. The questionnaire was presented to the respondents in written and also electronic form. The survey implies that potential customers are interested in this service. Next, through the multi-criteria evaluation, are there mapped competitors in the end of the thesis. In Prague 5 are there six direct competitors, which are able to provide comprehensive birthday parties for children. The evaluation of competitors was done based on predetermined criteria and their values. The strongest rivals were evaluated by polarity profile of competitors, which graphically typifies their strengths and weaknesses. Based on this thesis, the service is evaluated positively. For the realization of this service it is recommended to continue in the next steps of new product development.
Selection of of electricity supplier for household using methods of operations research

Main task of the thesis, as it is clear from its name, is the application of operations research methods, which could be used for selecting suppliers of electricity for the home. In the first part of thesis the functioning of the electricity market in the Czech Republic is explained and the theoretical assumptions, which are necessary for understanding the issue is described. In the practical part of the thesis some methods of multicriteria decision making and of data envelopment analysis models are presented. The results of each method are explained in detail and they are compared with results of other methods.
The Analysis of the Advantageousness of Number of Children for a State versus for a Family

The aim of this thesis is to point out unequal condition of multi member families in a state in comparison with childless families. The thesis tries to verify the hypothesis that to have and to bring up more children is considered to be utterly profitable and beneficial for the state whereas for the families, from the economic point of view, it is not so profitable and beneficial. The thesis compares the advantageousness of a family with more children for the state from various angles. On the other side the thesis uses methods of multicriteria decision making WSA and TOPSIS to appraise variants of different number of children depending on economic factors. The objective of these methods is to find a compromise variant, what numer of children is the most beneficial for the family. In addition, the thesis deals with non economic aspect of family and with the importance of relationships based on measuring of happiness by means of SWB -- subjective well-being. In conclusion, the thesis offers some proposals of effective family support.
Selecting strategic option in the organization of Bohemians 1905, a.s.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze a management problem in the organization Bohemians 1905, a.s. and submit recommendations to the board of the club for strategic choice options how to solve the management problem. The correct formulation of the problem will need to be analyze the current situation, put it in a strategic context and find the cause of the problem. This is done by Kepner-Tregoe methodology, C-E diagram and cognitive map. It will also need to develop objective solutions, design criteria, specify the possible solutions and determine the consequences of various options due to the proposed set of criteria. This is done by the value tree, a combination of multi-criteria evaluation under risk and certainty, probability trees and decision matrices. As a form of multi-criteria evaluation will be used in a specific form of the transfer bridge in the form of aggregated criteria of price/performance ratio of the options that allows create a list of preferred options.
Analysis of the investment opportunities after termination of building savings

This thesis is about the ability of investment by unit trusts after the termination of building savings. The goal was to choose from unit trusts one or more which would be possible to invest resources to. After the short introduction and the theoretical part where are explained esseintial terms related to this theme, follows the practical part in which are by using of multicriteria decision making methods chosen suitable unit trusts for listed example of investor. In the thesis are used methods ELECTRE I, WSA and TOPSIS. The last part of the thesis is the description of unit trusts chosen by this three multicriteria decision making methods.
