Posouzení vlivu mufloní zvěře na odrůstání kultur a nárostů na pozemcích obhospodařovaných Lesním družstvem obcí Ledeč nad Sázavou

This thesis negotiates with assessment of moufflon fluence on growing of cultures and natural young growths of the lands in holding of the Forest cooperative Ledec nad Sazavou. The secondary aim was determination of optimal quantity of animals in monitored areas, based on founded facts, and to compile proposal of provision which would lead to damage reduction. As method for finding actual number of moufflon population, there were used direct and indirect countings of animal population. Assessment of moufflon fluence on growing of cultures was based on terrain examination, following by of damage. Evaluation of growths was done on experimental lands. In this thesis, there are also information about damages caused by moufflons on forest growths and their elimination options.

Zhodnocení poškození porostů ohryzem na území Lesního družstva obcí Ledeč nad Sázavou

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the gnawing presence and follow-up rot in the vegetation which is administrated by The forest cooperative in municipality Ledeč nad Sázavou. Those damages are caused by moufflons. The literature overview pays attention to wood-decaying mushrooms, especially the Stereum sanguinolentum, which have the secondary impact of gnawing. The thesis also deals with the cause of animal damages and the possibility of their elimination. In the practical part of the thesis it was determined the ratio of trees which are damaged by gnawing and the ration of trees damaged by gnawing with rot signs. Afterwards the average age of gnawing damages was determined in 3 vegetation groups. According to the research it was determined the economic loss at amount of 463 663 Kč. In the thesis there is also a suggestion for the elimination of the gnawing source.

This bachelor's thesis analyzes the current situation of breeding in the game reserve Studánka, which focuses on the breeding mouflon and fallow deer game. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the health disposition game, evaluation of economic revenues of the forestry enterprise Kladská and the losses caused by cancellation of mouflon breeding. This bachelor's thesis includes to suggesting a suitable species game that will replace mouflon populations.

Zhodnocení přírodních podmínek a kvality chovu mufloní zvěře na Melechově

The thesis concentrates on assessment of mouflon population and it's habitat. The survey revealed that the mouflons had consumed 0,3% of herbaceous and grass biomass and 1,2% of timber biomass during the growing season. Outside the growing season the lack of natural feed was compensated by the good quality care taken by gamekeepers. The number of 30 animals in the population was estimated by combination of different measuring methods. The damage caused to young spruce trees proved to be the most dangerous influence that the mouflons have on woodlands. The quality of mouflon game was assessed by measuring the horns according to the CIC standards and by craniometric measuring of the heads and was found to be above-average. There are no health problems within the population. The local environment is very suitable for keeping mouflon game.

Chov muflona na ŠLP Křtiny

This bachelor thesis provides information about the history and present breeding of mouflon in SFE. The key point here was mainly the period from 2003 to 2013. In this period it was important to focus on the mouflon population size, on its quality and habitat in SFE. In addition an assessment was made of mouflon influence on the surrounding forest. To determine the size of the mouflon population a control method was used through retroactive calculations. Then the quality of mouflon trophies according to CIC and the average weight of wild game were investigated. The map of mouflon location in SFE has been created. When assessing the impact of mouflons on vegetation was primarily a record of potential damage mouflon game. Appropriate measures were implemented after evaluating each survey which will lead to the improvement of current mouflon breeding in SFE Křtiny.

I chose breeding deer and muflon farmed

The aim of the study is to evaluate basic expressions of both species of animals breeding on farm regard to changes during pasturage period. Breeding of moufflons and fallow-deers has started to expand in the Czech republic recently. It is joined with hight costs of breeding and exacting for live space. The study is intented to obtain available information about description of both species and their mutual breeding on the farm. The study describes definite farm, which was chosen by author. The farm is situated near Mokrosuky municipality, Pilsen discrict. It was founded in 2007. The farm is located 532m above the sea. The farm and animals are owner´s hobbies and he is filed to Czech-Moravian breeder society joint-stoke company, like each breeder. There were seven fallow-deers, thereof one male and six females in time of establishment. There were four moufflons too, thereof one male and three females. In 2010, the herd was expanded to eleven moufflons and twenty fallow-deers. Three moufflons were four years old , four heads were older than five years and four the youngest heads were one year old. The fallow-deer heads were three males, seven females five years old and nine young heads. Youngs were born on the farm. One fallow-deer died for pneumonia and two young fallow-deers died for accidents in 2012. Changes went through in stucture of herd on start of pursuance. One female of moufflon died for pneumonia and one young moufflon was slaughtered for a meat. Two fallow-deers were sold to freinds, who interested in to buy a meat. One fallow-deer was presented to The Agriculture and manufacture association Hrádek u Sušice, because The Agriculture and manufacture association gave some cereal products to the owner for free. Quantity of fallow-deers was changed from original 20 heads to 17 heads. Three ethological pursuances were implemented on the farm.
