The View of Older School Age Student to Teacher's Personality

The older school age is very considerable in terms of developmental psychology. The pupil's characteristics require an adequate reaction, a specific attitude and a psychological knowledge of the teacher. Pupils have some ideas of the teacher's personality, which may not correspond with the requirements imposed by experts. The presented work defines the factors, that are likely to affect the perspective of the learner of older school age to the personality of the teacher. There are recommendations, how to deal with the undesirable factors and generate or enhance the positive factors as well, so that it would indemnify the necessary positive relationship of the older school age pupil with the teacher.

The possibilities of free-time activities for people living in senior homes or homes with special regime in Pilsen

In my bachelor thesis I dealt with the current state of activation activities offered in retirement homes and homes with special regime in the city of Pilsen and changing trends within five years. Especially, my interest was focused on getting to know the difference of the socially therapeutic and activation activities among the homes, but I also wanted to find out whether the official offer of each home, which is mentioned in publicly available documents and sources, differs from the leisure activities provided in reality. The target of my work was the mutual comparison of offers of leisure activities, which are provided by Pilsner homes, and the survey of interest in these activation activities of the users of social service. The method of quality survey was used for accomplishing the thesis. An analysis of socially therapeutic and leisure activities was carried out as well as a secondary analysis of activity materials. The information was collected from a survey company in the form of questioning with the help of regulated individual interviews prepared in advance and followingly described in situational tretises.

Birds of České Budějovice (educational theme)

Diploma thesis is focused on birds in our surroundings. The main aim was to project excursions for pupils of primary schools at the Vrbenské rybníky Nature Reserve and urban parts of České Budějovice. Excursions included worksheets and motivational activities. The conceptual and structural analysis of the subject birds in selected text ? books on natural history for primary schools, own ornithological survey on sites of interest and compare the results with scientific literature. Both excursions, selected worksheet tasks and motivational activities were practically tested. Diploma thesis was solved in the project GA JU 065/2010/S.
