Digitálna dermatitída a jej dopad na produkčné a ekonomické ukazatele
Bončová, Barbora
Hoof health problems are a concern in all dairy farms worldwide, impacting the well-being of cows and productivity, which directly affects the farm’s economy. One of the most widespread diseases is digital dermatitis (DD). The subject of this work was to evaluate the incidence of digital dermatitis based on parity and lactation phase on dairy farm with approximately 700 Holstein cows. An experiment was conducted to determine the correlation between disease presence and milk yield. ANOVA with repeated measures was used as statistical analysis, with the dependant variable being average daily milk yield. Dairy cows were divided into four groups based on parity and lactation phase. Furthermore, the course of lactation was examined during the period of nine weeks with hooves treated in fifth week. The cost of digital dermatitis was calculated per sick cow and for the entire farm using multiple models for comparison. Results showed that primiparous cows had the highest incidence of the disease, and numbers decreased with increasing parity. The incidence of digital dermatitis was approximately 12% in the observed group. A statistical dependence was confirmed in only one group, specifically in dairy cows during the second and third lactation in the second phase. After treatment, a few weeks of reduced milk production were noted, while cows with DD had higher milk yield during the study period. This suggests that high-productive cows have a higher predisposition to DD. The calculated costs per cow ranged from 1,488.66 to 2,234.51 CZK across different models, with total costs for the company ranging from 113,784.67 to 193,545.32 CZK per year.
Vztah bezrohosti k mléčné užitkovosti u plemene český strakatý skot
Buřvalová, Michaela
This thesis studies the influence of polledness on parameters of milk production of Czech Fleckvieh cattle population. In theoretical section it gives an overview of current findings in the areas of anatomy, ontogenesis and genetics of polled and hor-ned phenotype, milk production and Czech fleckvieh breed. Then in practical section of this thesis, an evaluation of the phenotype (horned/polled and phenotypic deviations associated with polledness). Furthermore, the methodology of laboratory detection of mutations causing hornlessness (PCR + ELFO and Sanger sequencing) was optimized and carried out. This combination of polledness testing methods has proven to be effective so a relatively simple and cheap test to detect polledness in the Fleckvieh breed was designed. This test is suitable for further testing on a larger group of anima-ls. Second part of the practical section is devoted to statistical analysis (one-factor ANOVA and GLM) of dependency of milk production parameters (milk yield [kg of milk] fat content [%], protein content [%]) on polled genotype. Results of these analy-ses show, that polledness probably does not have a direct negative effect on milk yield and fat content in milk. However, the negative influence of polledness could not be refuted for the protein content parameter.
Analýza mléčné užitkovosti u dojnic českého strakatého skotu ve vybraném chovu
Jánišová, Lucie
In this bachelor thesis the analysis of milk yield of Czech fleckvieh cattle in selected breeding was performed, with regard to external and internal influences affecting milk production. The monitoring was carried out for 12 months, in the period from 01/2019 to 12/2019 in the stable Lubník, which belongs to the agriculture company ZOD Žichlínek and result from milk recording scheme. The monitoring was focused on fluctuations in milk production and milk elements, especially fat and protein, depending on individual seasons, the order and phase of lactation. Based on the results, we can conclude that the highest milk yields were achieved by cows at the 4th and higher lactation, dairy cows with a lactation phase of up to 100 days and in the spring period. The highest fat and protein content in milk was found in dairy cows with a lactation phase above 301 days. Dairy cows had the highest fat content in the summer and the highest protein content in the autumn.
Zhodnocení vztahu kvantitativních a kvalitativních parametrů mléčné užitkovosti dojnic holštýnského plemene v konkrétním chovu
Poláčková, Pavlína
The aim of this bachelor’s study was to evaluate an effect between quantitative and qualitative parameters of milk efficiency. As a quantitative parameter was used milk yield. Observed properties from qualitative compounds were fat, protein, lactose, somatic cells and carbamide. To the problem was processed review of literature. Evaluation was realised in cooperative farm AGROS Vyškov-Dědice which deals with breeding of the Holstein breed with average efficiency 35 kg milk per day. Dates of milk efficiency were taken from the control efficiency and afterwards putted through analysis in MS Excel. It has been found that with rising milk yield was increase fat and also protein content which is not common in our farms and it is contrary to commonly stated literature or other authors. Reversely lactose had been evaluated rather indirect impact – the lactose content decreased with increasing milk yield. No correlation was found for somatic cells and carbamide with milk yield.
Breeding and economic analysis of cattle breeding on a selected farm
DÁŇOVÁ, Anna
The main goal of this thesis is the breeding and economic evaluation of a company with cattle breeding. The evaluation was done in the collective farm Budíškovice in 2018 - 2020. All bred cattle categories were evaluated. The data were obtained from accounting and zootechnical internal records. Economic indicators were compared with the results of a statistical survey of the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Information (ÚZEI). Breeding indicators were compared with the average population of individual cattle categories in the Czech Republic.
Optimalizace výživy a krmení v chovu dojeného skotu
ŠENKYPL, Petr
This master thesis focuses on factors affecting the quality of the diet in dairy cows and its relation with milk production. On the analysed farm breeding Holstein cattle, the feed rations are evaluated in terms of diet composition and optimal supply of energy and nutrients for milk production. The diet composition during the followed period and its optimisation, diet analyses and metabolic tests of the cattle are evaluated in this work.
Vliv věku při prvním otelení na užitkovost a dlouhověkost dojnic
DRÁB, Zdeněk
The main significance of the diploma thesis was to evaluate in a clear form the influence of the level of heifer rearing and age at the first calving on the performance and longevity of dairy cows of Czech spotted cattle in the herd of Agro Kunčina a.s. Data of 390 dairy cows for the last five years were used. The data obtained were sorted according to key indicators, namely age at first calving, age at weaning, performance at first lactation, lifetime performance, milk content, order of lactation and causes of weaning. The available statistical methods were used to evaluate the effect of age at first calving on performance, longevity, causes of exclusion and content of milk components..
Water footprint of the cow milk for two types of production systems in the Liberec Region
Hojcsková, Daniela ; Hák, Tomáš (advisor) ; Třebický, Viktor (referee)
The water footprint is a multidimensional indicator which was created to quantify the total volume of freshwater used for various purposes. With the water footprint it is possible to determine the volume and type of water used directly and indirectly during the production in a given place and time. The data related to the water footprints of products are utilized in the evaluation of the international trade with goods, too (a concept of virtual water used for the analysis of water stress export out of the country which imports water-intensive products). The greatest amount of water is used globally in the agriculture, so the agricultural products are the ones with the highest water footprints. The focus of concern is the water footprint of an agriculture production and the aim of this work is to bring the first results regarding the water footprint of the cow milk in the Czech Republic and also to evaluate a methodology of its calculation. Two dairy farms dealing with a market production of milk from the Liberec region were chosen for the research. The farm Rváčov is oriented to an intensive milk production and on the other hand the farm Bzí is a system with mixed elements of extensive and intensive characters of the dairy production. For the comparison of the milk production effectiveness we have...
Analýza úrovně výživy a vybraných ukazatelů produkce mléka
PLACKOVÁ, Lenka
The subject of my thesis was an analysis that deals with the level of nutrition of holstein cattle, witch evaluates feeding, drinking, silage quality techniques and optimalization of the feed ration in 2017 and 2018. In 2017 the feed ration used for dairy cows contained more PDIE. In 2018 the feed ration contained lower amount of energy (6MJ NEL/ 1kg of dry matter) and NL (138,6 g NL/kg of dry matter). After comparing of these two diets for dairy cows with nutrient need, there was recommended an increase of dry matter content in feeding ration. In the milk productivity assessement, the fat and protein content, SC, total aerobic microbial count, was reviewed. The statistic shows the impact of the season of the year on the fat and protein content, SC, total aerobic microbial count in milk. From ecomomy point of view, costs per litre of selled milk was 7,69 Kč in 2017, which was lowered to 7,28 CZK per litre of selled milk. Both years was profitable, and in comparing the economy from 2017 with Czech republic average, tracked stable was more profitable 3 662 CZK per dairy cow.
Vliv živé hmotnosti jalovic v průběhu odchovu na mléčnou užitkovost dojnic českého strakatého skotu
SOKELOVÁ, Barbora
The aim of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the influence of live weight in the course in rearing heifers on milk yield Fleckvieh in economically squad Určice. 420 cows of Czech Fleckvieh breed in period of 5 years (2011-2016) were evaluated. Body weight of heifers was determined by bridging the transition from individual business records to the age of 3, 6, 12 and 15 month. The influence of bodyweight heifers during rearing on the usability and functional length were evaluated, as well as the effect of the age at first calving on milk yield and functional longevity. Last but not least were determined the most common causes of retirement of cattle from the herd. No significant effects of rearing of heifers on dairy milk yield or the longevity of cows were detected.
