Design of a one-span beam bridge

The aim of the thesis is a safe and economical design of a bridge over a watercourse according to all valid regulations and standards. There were designed three possible options in accordance with the recommended dimensions. The variation with the cross-section that consists of two beams and effective width of flanges is preferred. The thesis is mainly focused on the design of bearing concrete structure.
Design of the prestressed ceeling structure

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design and the solution of a prestressed ceiling structure of a building. The preliminary design is established using the method of balancing the equivalent load which is limited by choice of the average normal stress and the method of a surface of feasible prestress. The aim of this thesis is to assess whether such proposed prestressed slab meets the limit states of usability and load capacity and ultimate assessment of the feasibility of the design of this type of construction.
Pedestrian bridge across the river Labe

The thesis deals with a design of the river Labe bridging in the city Hradec Kralove. In order to make option for cyclists and pedistrians to cross between shores. There were made three design variants. For detailed solution curved twin-arm arched structure was chosen. The aim of the thesis was design and assessment of Bering strucutre of the footbridge according ultimate limit states and serviceability limit state given by valid Eurocodes.
Railway bridge over a local brook

The purpose of this work was to design a bridge local stream to convert single-track railway line. The possible variation deals with the construction of prestressed girder bridge on one field with the lower deck. The aim of this work was to design and evaluate the structure on the basis of ultimate limit states and serviceability limit states according to applicable EN standards.

Prestressed slab structure using SFRC

There are two varies considered - prestressed concrete structure and prestressed structure using steel fiber reinforced concrete. The aim of the thesis is to assess a contribution to application of steel fiber reinforced concrete in serviceability limit state and ultimate limit state. At the end of thesis is an evaluation of possibility to design this type of structure from prestressed steel fiber reinforced concrete.

Three variants were designed, from which the most suitable one was selected and it was further designed. The selected load-bearing structure is an monolithic post-prestressed single-girder bridge with one span. The span of the structure is 28.0 m. The structure has been detailed processing and assessment of the structure for the ultimate limit state and service limit state. Detailed drawings and visualization followed.
