Indeed, each it is operating on their own, unless in one act with several characters to one meaning. For this moment, I chose the example of the four figures that work in both cases.
A contrastive study of the Czech translation equivalents of the pragmatic markers now and well in electronic parallel texts
Houra, Aleš ; Klégr, Aleš (advisor) ; Šaldová, Pavlína (referee)
This thesis presents a contrastive analysis of the English pragmatic markers now and well and their Czech translation equivalents. The overall material is based on 200+12 occurrences that were excerpted from the electronic parallel corpus InterCorp, with all the instances appearing in fictional dialogues. The contrastive study focuses on the role of translation as a means to understand better the nature of the two pragmatic markers. It analyzes specific marker-collocate sequences and the respective Czech translation equivalents. It demonstrates that certain marker-collocate sequences have a tendency to be translated by specific Czech translation equivalents and that the role of other factors, such as position in discourse structure, prosody, and broader context, play in this respect an important role as well. All this and the finding that both now and well share certain Czech translation equivalents add to the multifunctionality of both now and well and prove that a combination of other factors is needed to comprehend the use of the two pragmatic markers in English. The comparison of the Czech translation equivalents in this thesis to the Czech translation equivalents in the Czech-English dictionary Lingea attempted to provide an example of how a contrastive analysis can be useful in Lexicography.

Interjections in the German press
MARTÍNKOVÁ, Klára
The work focuses on the occurrence and the usage of interjections in the German written press. In the theoretical part the interjections are characterised and sorted on the basis of their behaviour and functions according to accessible professional literature. In the practical part the selected excerpts are further analysed from a phonetic, morphological and syntactical point of view, and from the point of view of their separate meanings and in context on the basis of a particular article. One of the biggest and most famous German dailies of a boulevard character the Bild was chosen as the main source of the occurrence of the interjections. The selected interjections come from various sections. The work is written in the German language.
Anglicisms in German press
ŠINDELÁŘOVÁ, Andrea
This bachelor thesis has the title "Anglicisms in German press". The aim of this work is a comprehensive analysis of the degree of anglicisms assimilation in contemporary German language (from phonetic-phonological, orthographical and morphological point of views). In the theoretical part I will start from the basic literature considering the issue of accepting foreign words, especially from the English. In the practical part will be concerned with the issue of possible changes in the meaning of Anglicisms and their pragmatic application in German language in comparison with the original. Anglicisms will be excerpted from its own corpus of twenty texts, selected from sections of the German magazine "Bild der Wissenschaft". The data will be subjected to analysis, compared to those in the relevant scholarly works / dictionaries. The work is accompanied by an analysed text corpus.
