Overview documentation of notches produced by laser burning technology into pipe bodies within the project TK01030108 (NEMENUS)

This technical report has been prepared within the project DP_04_02_04: Research of applicability of modern SHM (Structural Health Monitoring) systems for increasing reliability and economic efficiency of nuclear power plant operation (existing, new and small modular reactors). The purpose of this report is to provide an overview documentation of the experience with laser technology, which has been successfully applied in the previous TAČR project TK01030108 (NEMENUS project, 2020 and 2022) for the production of notches into pipe test specimens, and which is expected to be advantageously used also in the experimental program of the current project. The information gathered in this document will help in the specification of the assignment to the provider of this service (ATG, s.r.o.), and in the optimization of the laser parameters for the purpose.

Bridge construction diagnostics

The theoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to bridge constructions in Czech Republic, reinforced concrete and its history of use, examinations of bridges and bridge structures in general. Practical part is focused on evaluation of structural survey of a real bridge construction with a proposal of possible remediation. The calculation part cointain of 3D model of construction and static calculation to determine the maximal capabiality to transfer load from traffic.

This research work mainly deals with the methodology of quality control in the production process, which is focused on the production of tillage machines. The scope of work are quality control methods and their practical use in production. The work is focused on smaller production plants from the South Bohemian region, which deal with piece production according to the customer's wishes and test their products.

Application of microwave-assistet decomposition procedures in analysis of dust aerosols

The use of microwave-assisted digestion in analyses of airb orne particulate matter. The analytical procedure of sample preparation for AAS measurements of selected analytes (As, Cd, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn) was developed. The validation of a method was done by analyses of SRM 1648 (NIST) and by using a new testing material - urban dust. The preparation of this material was described. Recommended values of selected analytes given by different independent methods (AAS, ICP-OES, ICP, MS, INAA and PIXE) are included.
