Final thesis is a description of the management system in nursery schools in the Czech Republic. It presents a view of the management mainly through the basic management skills of a headmaster, which are planning, organizing, human resources, leadership and controlling. The research results provide a profile of a headmaster who has a certain managerial expertise and management skills. Furthermore, the research part contains analysis of the use of managerial roles by respondents and presents findings about the influence that management education has on the use of management tools in the management of a nursery school.
