Man in management of nursing
ROTHSCHEDL, Radek
This bachelor thesis focuses on men working in managerial positions in nursing. In management in general, there is an equalization of the ratio of men to women in managerial positions. In nursing, as a female-dominated field, this trend is significantly slower. The aim of this study was to map the opinion of middle-level non-medical health care staff about men in nursing managerial positions. The second aim of the present work was to find out how men working in these positions perceive themselves. The research was conducted by means of a questionnaire survey with mid-level NPs and interviews with men in nursing managerial positions.
