Matrimonial crises by clients of marriage counselling service

This diploma work is dealing with the phenomenon of matrimonial crises. In the introductory chapters of the theoretical part we are defining the main themes of this work - relationship, philosophy of marriage, crises and marital crises. We are concerned with the couples therapy, its history and selected approaches. One chapter is devoted to the developmental approach that gives the possibility to see marital crises as an opportunity to self-knowledge, personality growth or relationship advancement. Practical part is conceived as a qualitative research. Its main goal is to survey and explore marital crises that we observed in clients of marital consulting centre. We would like to offer a more generalized vision of marital crises. We would also answer the questions how does a marital crises looks like and what processes are going on. Our work is setting down the research goals and describes in details chosen methodology, research sample and the methods of collecting and processing the data. Research data were collected mainly in the half- structured interview that was completed by the observation of interaction styles and a technique of relationship sculpturing. Family and connected things

Family has gone through its own change during the course time and it seems that a complexity of time and a complexity of a situation inside the family das not fully aliowe a creation of a security of home and proximity. A man is disturbed, he/she lapses from ones s own principles nad often even looses meaning. Where a relationship can be terminated any time, a man does not have to make any efforts.. A hope for a melamoipliosis of a man oilers a chance for him to "return to oneself'' and to - from inside - understand a necessity for "nurturing" his or her own partnership with a lasting care - a marriage preceeded by "exclusivity" of a partner's choice. A quality of marriage and a foundation of a family is then found in a Jove lived", despite failures, where "two freedoms" meet, mutually offering their own opportunities and also belief in The Other one with the absolute hope in his or her change a"d his or her lasting discovery. The Divorce and its Influence Upon a Child

The thesis regards not only the aspects of a marriage or family failure, its predictors and some correlates and reasons but also the divorce impact on members and children of a disrup-ted family. The first part describes the circumstances of a marriage formation, a crisis of a wedded life and a background of a matrimony and family break up. The second part deals with the parenthood aspects, genetically conditioned divorce impacts on a child, task of a child anamnesis in these impacts and with a possible deprival influence of a divorce. The third part concerns the family conception as a unit and a family situation in a current society and also a family as a community.
