Slip factor of the hydrodynamic pumps
Duda, Petr ; Archalous, Jakub (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
Bachelor thesis contains basic information about the hydrodynamic pumps. It describes the specific energy for an infinite number of very thin blade and following corrections to the finite number of blades. Part of this work is dedicated to all-weather resulting in Blade to blade channel and their effect on specific energy pump. There are illustrated by calculations of correction factors of individual authors and finally corrections are made on real three impeller wheels with a comparison of different methods.
The influence of the impeller diameter decreasing on the pumps characteristic
Jelen, Richard ; Haluza, Miloslav (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with changing the geometry of the output section of the impeller of the radial centrifugal pumps and its influence on the characteristics of the pump. In engineering practice for these radial centrifugal pumps it is possible to change the parameters based on the requirements. This adaptation of parameters is called impeller trimming. Impeller trimming means the reduction of the impeller diameter thereby decreasing the flow, head and efficiency. Existing equations for calculating the changes in the characteristics of the impeller trimming are inaccurate. In this thesis is describes a possible method of putting for the recalculation characteristics of a pump based on the impeller diameter on the available characteristics of pumps.
Slip factor of the hydrodynamic pumps
Chromek, Lukáš ; Himr, Daniel (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the initial draft of an impeller wheel, determination of its specific energy that has a pump with infinite number of impeller blades and following correction to real specific energy of an impeller wheel pump with finite number of blades. The correction will be performed using different methods by various authors and some of the methods will also be compared during the calculation of specific energy and discharge head of pump of several real impeller wheels. Then the thesis goes on to deal with some of the effects arising from the flow of fluid in the impeller wheel that often have negative influence on above-mentioned specific energy. At the end of the thesis, there will be brief abstract on problems of the correction, simulation, and analysis of flow in a blade channel using CFD software.
Theoretical and experimental setting of the side channel pump specific energy
Dančák, Zdeněk ; Habán, Vladimír (referee) ; Fialová, Simona (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with side channel pumps. Derivated formula of specific energy is supplemented by other equations and the results of CFD simulation. Further are analysed the mechanism of energy transfer from the impeller and external characteristics of the pump.
Optimization of a sinusoidal pump
Sluše, Jan ; Bílek, Martin (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to design the technical solution of minimization of frictional losses, which occur when using a sine pump at position of the shaft locking and on the impeller wheel. The losses originating from the frictional forces have a negative influence on the lifetime of individual parts and economy of the pump. In the first part the author describes sine pumps from the constructional point of view and the main producers are mentioned. The second part contains suggestions on the parameters of the pump and various possibilities of solutions. The last part covers the experiment and conclusions.
