Speech therapy prevention for the natural development of pre-school children

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of (not) using the offer of speech therapy prevention by parents of children with impaired communication skills. The theoretical part defines basic concepts such as speech therapy, speech therapy, impaired communication ability, speech development (risks that may manifest in speech development) and articulation. It relies on available professional sources in the field of speech therapy. The practical part is carried out using the method of qualitative research and contains semi-structured interviews with parents. The main goal is to find out the answer to the research question: "How active is the interest on the part of parents and what is the main reason for parents to seek professional help?" Specifically, it is a research in a kindergarten in South Bohemia.
Primary logopedical prevention in nursery school from the perspective of parents

The aim of bachelor thesis is to find out the parent awareness about primary prevention in kindergarten in an area of speech therapy. Theoretical part introduces the concept of speech therapy, speech therapy and speech therapy prevention. It also explains a method of obtaining professional qualifications for logopedical assistant in education and discusses the primary constituents of speech therapy prevention. Practical part introduces results of questionnaire survey and assesses parents awareness and opinions in an area of the speech preventive activities in kindergarten. Then activities for family speech therapy prevention are suggested.
